    Well, the only other person to vote was obviously looking for some nudity and raunchy sex scenes. In the midst of that mindless search, he missed a great, though predictable, script, some well played performances by two of the three leads (Tricia just lacked any connection to her character), and incedible cinematography. My favorite shot of the whole film is the close-up on the iguana, which as the lizard turns away, changes focus to Tricia's character sitting on her bed playing with her animals. This movie was definately a triumph of a film, spinning the web on chicks instead of guys. Funny how girls getting naked and having on screen sex scenes warrants an R, but girls fully dressed TALKING about sex originally garnered an NC-17...… Expand

    The only thing redeeming about this movie was the song during the scene in which the two girls are in a bedroom composing a personal ad for the Village Voice. I assume it's called "Sex", but it's not credited at the end of the film. Strange. I'd buy this artist's CDs in a heartbeat, if I only knew his name. But the movie is horrible.

    Refreshingly direct and even courageous in its confrontation of female pleasure -- specifically orgasms and masturbation, the staple of teen-boy comedies, but hitherto off-limits for girls.

    Too crude for serious audiences and too serious to be good exploitation, Coming Soon is a teen sex comedy that's predictably getting a token theatrical release prior to its imminent debut on home video.
