It was a very enjoyable film, which reminded me of American Beauty or Magnolia. I liked it. It should have had a more abstract title, tho.

The point is what we all try and escape. The truth that maybe we do not have control in our lives and even if we think our lives will stay the same, the fact is that someone may be out there waiting to catch us when our world finally does fall apart. I think this movie is brilliant! I love the cast. Keena and Kartheiser have a connection you can't help but notice when they do films together. I think those critics need to look again. Expand

I find something new in this film every time I watch it. There aren't many movies, or even books, about which I can say that.

A messy but hungry film like this is more interesting than cool technical perfection.

Even dressed up in tabloid lighting and cut with jagged edits, this pulp nihilism never goes beyond daytime TV banality.
  3. Sloppy, self-satisfied and surprisingly heartfelt.
