I'm not completely sure whether movie critics have high standards or just have no sense of humor. This movie was a charming ballad of the hair band listening, rebelling, coming-of-age teenager who's just trying live life to the fullest. Unlike the many youth movies that can't overcome their makers' hindsight, this one may actually put you in an adolescent frame of mind.

If you love KISS, you'll probably see this movie anyway. If you don't, there's no point.
  3. The cast never has much chance to shine. And the main attraction is kept all too understandably under wraps.
