Unlike, say, "Eagle Eye," Echelon Conspiracy doesn't put enough conviction behind its stupidity. It's mostly just bland.

Echelon Conspiracy is a more evocative title than a movie this stupid deserves.

All Echelon can offer is some wobbly action and views of Red Square.

There's nothing in Echelon Conspiracy as suspenseful or entertaining as your average episode of "24."

This movie has topped all the critics reviews I have been reading so far. Its opening very suspenseful and keeps the action going throughout. I have seen Eagle Eye before and can surely say: This one is much better. The story might sound similar, but there is also a kind of dreaming note to it and I could identify with the main cast ( Max), who as a regular guy suddenly gets the pleasures of a high-roller life. Definitely makes you dream again... Expand

Agree with previous commenters that it's similar (more than that probably) to Eagle Eye, but both smarter and tones down the absurdity of the premise far more, which makes it easier to suspend disbelief and enjoy the film. Great move? No, but entertaining. Enjoyed the cast, as well. Expand

Incredibly far fetched but it does have it's suspenseful moments and a few good action scenes. The cast is mediocre, Ed Burns is the most convincing. Good location filming. Still, there are far too many coincidences. Expand
