    It’s a great story. I’ve read books on the subject and have found it fascinating. But even reading Mandela and Desmond Tutu will not prepare you for the barrage of information Endgame throws at you.
  2. The result is something like an old-fashioned Costa-Gavras film but without the leftist sentimentality.

    Fans of "The Wire," take note: Clarke “Lester Freamon” Peters does an impressive turn as Nelson Mandela.
  4. The principals, especially Ejiofor, rise above the starchiness that often hampers portrayals of recent, monumental history.

    Endgame has promise story-wise, but it ends up taking a turn for the worse through its very confusing storylines and characters. You end up just wanting to turn it off for your brain's sake instead of continuing to watch it. Nevertheless, William Hurt and Chiwetel Ejiofor did a pretty damn good acting job. Full Review »
