  1. A lazy and uninspired knock-off of the hilarious 2002 movie "Road Trip."

The premise of the film is serviceable, but the execution is flawed and entirely underwhelming.

While the cast members are all appealing, with characters that are barely penciled in it falls on their shoulders to make the film even passably watchable, which they only barely manage.
  4. If you're going to make a gross-out comedy you can't just be gross. You've got to be to be funny as well, or the movie will be DOA. Which is why Eurotrip should be toe-tagged and shoved into the deepest and coldest of video vaults.

Eurotrip's constant anxiety that women might turn out to be men and vice versa makes this command especially fraught.

It boggles the mind to consider that the fertile writing team of Alec Berg, David Mandel, and Jeff Schaffer, all of whom spent time scripting episodes of "Seinfeld," could turn out something as abysmally unfunny as Eurotrip.
  7. Most of the humor is both determinedly puerile and unfunny, performed by a generic cast.
  8. Quite possibly the single most artless gross-out comedy I have ever seen. It relentlessly slaps you with dead carp after dead carp of icky gags -- without any of the cleverness, cinematography or characterization that would give those gags even the slightest bit of juice.

I thought it was a shame the hostel scenes in Amsterdam were deleted; watch the dvd, they're hilarious! Full Review »

This movie kind of rides the coattails of American Pie and the wave of young adult films that came after it. The movie is I like the characters, despite them not really being overly original and falling into the general stereotypes. There is some good humour in the mix as well although some of it has already faded a little. Eurotrip is also clich├ęd which is almost expected from a teen film and you can see the ending coming from a mile away. Still overall there is a lot of fun to be had with Eurotrip and it is a great lighthearted comedy for young people. Full Review »
