Evolution is such a underrated Sci-fi comedy its a shame that most people don't like it i on the other hand freaking love it i used to watchEvolution is such a underrated Sci-fi comedy its a shame that most people don't like it i on the other hand freaking love it i used to watch it all the time on VHS when i was younger. The cast is for sure the best part about the movie David Duchovny, Julianne Moore, Orlando Jones, Seann William Scott, Sarah Silverman had a little funny scene, plus Dan Aykroyd as the Governor was hilarious but seeing that this is a Ivan Reitman Sci-fi comedy i should have known that he was going to be in it at one point or another. The only part that i really don't care is the head and shoulders idea i mean come on that was some horrible product placement i cant believe Reitman let his son do that and think it was a good idea.

    overall i give it a 7.0

The movie manages to let the suspense build nicely, until it explodes and gets defused with what I see as a thoroughly self-ironic nod to product placement.

It's not a work of genius, but it is worth a look-see if you enjoy humorous alien invasions and hopeless heroes forced to try to "save the world". A solid 7.
