It's hard to put into words how much this franchise is and was important to me, both as a person and as someone who is now absolutely in love with cinema and other forms of storytelling art.
First of all, thank you, JK, for being able to deliver a solid story that talks about so many things with such care and depth. I've already read the books, and the experience was amazing.
About the movie itself, yes... that's a proper conclusion for sure. The plot around Snape is so good that it's impossible for me not to cry watching it. The performance of the cast is outstanding. The photography reaches its peak here, and watching this on an OLED is something to be grateful for. The OST, then? Heart-touching.Harry Potter will always be with me, and I couldn't be more grateful for it.

Cinematographer Eduardo Serra underscores the sense of dread with a rich charcoal palette, and the outstanding CGI and 3D effects make the otherworldly threats more corporeal.
Overall, Part 2 tells a more compelling and emotionally fulfilling tale than the one related in Part 1, although that could be a result of this movie having a conclusion - something its predecessor notably lacked.

I much prefer the books and I think this film was overly hyped (for obvious reasons). It is a shame that they felt the need to split the films because very little happened in this film and it could have been cut down quite significantly. A bit of a sad day for Britain now that Harry Potter has finished but the books would always be my recommendation.
I wanted to like this more... I really did, especially having grown up with the books. However, muddled plotting and copious amounts of expository dialogue, due to a rushed pace, kept this film from realizing its full potential.
Should not have tried to make a lot of changes in movie. Not sure if there was cost cutting needed to avoid animation wherever necessary. Even felt that actor actress were not showing maturity (Did not really tried to act)... Overall worst of the series as in adaptation... Climax fight which is very important... shame on you David
