TimA.Aug 3, 20030What a waste of time! How come it was so boring. Harrison Ford for the 2nd time did a horrible movie now it is a question of wether he wants to save his reputation, or just make a million bucks do a crap movie! Same goes for the new kid!

BenS.Jun 19, 20033I believe that the New York Post said it best. "There's little action in this snail-paced bore, you'll need a high-powered magnifying glass to spot the comedy and the "buddies" have about as much chemistry as a pair of wet socks."

SaerA.May 22, 20046When are they going to stop making cop-comedy movies dealing with 2 guys. Did I like it? Yeah, sort of in its own way. It had some comedy and action but when I compare it to Rush Hour and Bad Boys, it makes the movie look bad.

FrankO.Feb 9, 20062One of the worst movies that I watched this year. What a waste of talent, time and money. Actors seemed to be going through the motions.

StaceyG.Oct 13, 20033While Harrison ford and Josh Hartnett boast good performances, their chemistry is awful. The movie has a few laughs and is good in the last twenty or so minutes but it is very slow. At the same time it moves way to fast. In the end Hollywood Homicide has great ptential but it tries way to hard and falls flat. I dont know how The cast could make a movie this bad.

PaulS.Oct 29, 20031Quite the worst movie I've ever seen Harrison Ford in. He looked as bored as I felt. About halfway thru I realised I had forgotten what crime they were investigating and then realised I didn't care. It's movies like this that give movies a bad name.

MattL.Jun 21, 20038Surprisingly good. I went in at the end of a lousy day expecting to hate it, and ended up captivated and laughing. It's tongue in cheek stupid/smart in the same vein as Paul Verhoeven, and you'll get it or you won't. Then again, I live in Hollywood, so that helps. Worth a look, formulate your own darn opinion.

GarethM.Apr 24, 20069It you look under the hood this is a clever, tripped out motor that is almost a spoof of the buddy buddy movie. Ford's most enjoybale film since Clear and Present Danger.

JeffreyL.S.Jun 15, 20036(**1/2) OK crime-caper/buddy movie & a bit of comedy as well. & for me, finest part of this, was setting in Tinsel-Town! Great locations, etc Inc. A SUBWAY-SYSTEM!? Hartnett though is a dullard. Ford though holds it together pretty-well. Not exactly one of his best, but ok & not "48 Hrs." either. Marginal thumbs-up!

Aug 28, 20113Hollywood Homicide isn't so much an awful comedy as it as an astonishingly dull buddy cop flick. Nothing feels natural, from the "quirky" jobs that the cops have on the side, to the "goofy" dialogue they have, to the "far-fetched" murder mystery. It's an incredibly forced farce.

63Ten minutes in, and the verdict is already clear: This is a flick that goes both ways. It's funny, then it's not; it's cooking, then it isn't; it's different, then it ain't.

25By the time it ended, I'd stopped caring. I suspect most moviegoers will do the same. Here's hoping Shelton scurries back to the athletic world in a hurry.

50A frustrating blend of the sharply funny and the ploddingly generic. Although he does them well enough, we dont really need Ron Shelton to give us the same old skidding-U-turn cop-thriller theatrics. Hes a much more distinctive talent than this crass spree allows for.
