  • Summary: Mike is a small-town star athlete who is the first in his family to attend college, receiving a football scholarship to a prestigious Northwestern University. When he returns home over Christmas break to the people he left behind--his family and friends--they are all surprised to see him with a new girlfriend, Elizabeth, a pretty rich girl from Chicago. No one is more shocked than Mike's homecoming queen ex-girlfriend, Shelby, who immediately wants to be rid of Elizabeth and does everything it takes to get Mike back. (Paper Street Films) Expand

    Competent but unimaginative horror entry.

Glued together with shards from much better movies, the humorless plot offers no mystery about who's doing what to whom, or why.
  3. An unmitigated B-movie that isn't thrilling enough or cheesy enough to make it worth the trip.

If we can agree on anything in this great divided land of ours, it's this: Mischa Barton can't act.
  5. Homecoming is coldly efficient for what it is. But what it is is trash.
  6. As ineffectual police work and broken feet stack up, the silliness gets out of hand.

Critics just can't appreciate a legitimately terrifying and must-see thrill ride. not just for horror fans.
