  • Summary: Welcome to that cutthroat, hyper-competitive, do-or-die sport of...little league soccer, a world where kids and their victory-crazed suburban parents find themselves on a high-stakes collision course-all in the name of good, clean, athletic fun. (Universal)

An entertaining family movie, and may serve a useful purpose if it inspires kids to overthrow their coaches and take over their own sports.
  2. This might be the most predictable movie of the year, but at least it delivers everything you expect it to.
  3. It's Ferrell who is the vehicle, a mow-you-down comic engine, and everyone else is just along for the ride in this marginally effective, starkly unoriginal family comedy.
  4. It's not brilliant by any means, but bright enough to light up an overly familiar feel-good story.
  5. 50
A sweet, inoffensive, achingly laughless comedy.
  6. 30
The heart of the problem may be that real life youth-sports insanity has far exceeded the bounds of family-friendly comedy.
  7. 20
If its made-for-TV sensibility explains its chaotically blobby shooting style, it doesn't clarify a plot so painfully padded that it looks for laughs in strange digressive asides regarding bratwurst and coffee.

One of the funniest movies ever, is the acting amazing? no. Is it deep?, oh heck no. This movie knows it is a goofy comedy and owns it. One of the funniest movies i have ever seen. Expand

You know what really makes this entertaining? Will Ferrell's performance! He made this movie so funny and if any average actor took over this project, it just wouldn't be that fun. Expand

It's gleeful in its juvenility, and Ferrel's mad funny.

Kicking and Screaming reaches success in all ages.
This is probably one of the few movies that can be laughed at by both adults and kids.
Will Ferrel pushes the envelope just far enough to stay appropriate but make his presence known. Expand

This movie takes me back when I was a kid. It's a stupid, whacky soccer movie that's surprisingly hilarious. Like any other Will Ferrel movie it's a typical Will Ferrel screw-ball comedy. The movie is stupid at times, but it still keeps you laughing, like the "Juice Box" scene. But it's not as good as Ferrel's other movies like Anchorman and Talledega Nights. As far as the story goes, it's still just a broad, typical sports story, but done "Will Ferrel" style. Overall, it's a stupid soccer movie, but with some fun, hilarious moments. Expand

A light, sometimes funny movie that is watchable but forgettable. The supporting cast don't take much of the comedic burden so Ferrell becomes the sole reason you would watch this film. Expand
