Damn good movie! You gotta see it, but it is for selected audiences, not everyone will enjoy it. Plus it's really not related to the book. But they're both good in my opinion!

This movie is very real in every aspect. This was a great movie. Very intense! Our youth should see more of reality, and less fiction.

I just saw the movie on DVD recently. Its beautiful movie about friendship and the loss of love. Its about how beautiful and joyful LOVE can be. And how unforgiving it can be when its lost. Unforgettable Movie!!!

Is the best film I've seen in a lot of time.

This movie could not deserve anything less- The acting done by these 3 young actresses was absolutely amazing. Barton was just so sensitive, and played her role perfectly, as Well as Pare, who had just the righ emotions, at just the right times...And dont even get me STARTED on how amazing Perabo was.. Her emotions were jsut so strong and real, i found myself lost in the movie so many times. After reading the book (the Wibes of Bath by Susan Swan) Id have to give Pool, Barton, Pare, Perabo, and everyone else two thumbs up!… Expand

There's a temptation to dismiss "Lost and Delirious" as "Rory Gilmore Meets the Lesbians" if not for the utter intensity and sincerity of Piper Perabo's performance. Paulie got to me when she feeds her bird. As for my allusion, the "Gilmore Girls" comparison is legit. Not too many teenage girls would make friends with the gardener like how Mary(Barton) does, but Rory would.

I want to say that I think this is the best movie I have seen ever I love the story and im planning on reading the book.

A beautiful, artistic, powerful and deep vision of Teenage angst and first love. I thought it was incredibly done. Piper Perabo is dramatically poignant. She gives an eye-opening, gut-wrenching, amazing performance as Paulie. This film deserve a standout ovation simply for its quality of emotion and the depth of the three leads' performances.

Although some points could have been further developed, this film accurately portrays the passionate love shared between two women and the pain of denied passion.

The movie was a little melodramatic, which took away from the realism a little, but COME ON! The characters were absolutely vivid, and the story rocked! I gotta say, stuff like voiceovers and literary quotes are usually not my bag, I think they are hoky, but they totally worked here. everything just sorta works in this movie, which is really beautiful from its beginning to it's end. If I could give more, I'd do that. This movie is my all time favourite... It has the most purest love in it that has ever been shown on television. Piper Perabo truly gave the best of herself. I gave this movie a 10 cuz it is soo real. I mean at the time that I watched it I was kinda going through the same thing that Pauli was. And my g/f at the time, her name was Victoria so I could relate a lot....All in all I learned something and I wanted to fly as well. And I did fly. Away from Vic, and now I moved on and that movie is a part of me everyday and I love it a lot. This movie is so touching, i agree, i dont think any guy would do anything like pauly did. i gave this movie a rating of 10 because this movie shows excellence in every matter. and the story is capturing and never ending. never ending means, while the movie ended, it could have gone on forever, it doesnt just leave you hanging nor does it give you an official conclusion. if you are pondering watching it for the first time, or watching it again, go for it. i seriously cried when i first watched it. it was quite an emotional release for me. also, i recommend this movie to anyone that wants to show someone what an alternate lifestyle (eg. homosexuality) really is. … Expand

This is absolutely the best movie ever.

I loved this movie, i want to thank the writers and the actresses for making it so easy for the viewers to relate to. From the part that Vic. turned away from Paulie to where Paulie 'flies' i cried. I was so enwrapped in the movie emotionally.

I love this movie, and i can relate by my relationship with my girlfriend and i def. would kno how Polly felt, i kno i wouldn't be able to handle losing her.

Great movie. So touching, so intense, so breathtaking. And true. Gays are not accepted in our society, no matter how good/bad they are. If you're gay, you're a freak, and the movie shows it. As well as it shows there is true love out there, but ... It seems to be not enough to be happy.

As a young woman in my own coming of age period, I found this movie exceptionally well done. I too go to an all-girls school and the atmosphere was portrayed wonderfully (although no one is judged for being homosexual at my school). I absolutely loved this movie, and I can't wait to watch it again.

I taped this movie a few nights ago, and I've seen it 4 times since. The mood of the film brings you in in a way I can't really describe. The passion is intoxicating. For anyone who has felt love and then lost it, this film will grab ahold of you and won't let go for some time. Piper Perabo's performance is stunning. You just have to see this.

This movie ripped up an old piece of saddness inside of me and vented it out. The way this movie was filmed and how Piper Perabo acted out her part made me feel every emotion her character did I cried with her, it touched me deeply. The way she acted her part made it real, it stirred me.

I love this movie its so cool.

This was a really great movie, even one the guys did enjoy. Not just because of the "hot lesbian action" as depicted in one of the scenes but because of the plot and intensity of it overall. One of the few movies where I can say even the males cried in the end. This is a topic many disregard. So, all in all, this in my opinion is for every gender that is mature enough to understand the concept.

I loved the movie! The story is so evolving, I couldn´t sleep after i´ve watched. I kept thinking about the theme, and the outcome... Would´ve the end been different... I don´t know. Very good movie with great music.

Gay movie review very well for the most part. Everyone who is gay will most likely love this movie, just because of the topic itself. I on the other hand think this may be in the top 10 movies I have ever seen do to the acting. I would normally find all the tears and screaming over the top. Not here though, this movie puts us where most of us have been. Lost without the young true first love, doing everything and anything to win this person back. you feel the pain and also how she demands that she will win. Barton plays excellent as the caring outsider who really wants to help, just how? she to is dealing with her own problems, the head of the school is knowing but yet tries her best to not get too involved, you know why. so many layers to each person I could watch this movie if it lasted 2 hrs. more. This isn't a gay film it's about passion and true love. the ending is a bit much, but most of us have felt this bad. I am 31 now and will tell all the 16-20 yr. olds who had the pleasure to watch this film, buy it and keep it forever.....you will never forget the first love ore the pain of losing them. this will make you smile in 10 yrs.… Expand

This movie is about true love in a society that doesn't permit a relationship between two girls. One is affraid of the thoughts and one doesn't care at all! She is in love, but a TRUE love. This movie is a piece of art, a must see! It touches you directly to the heart. You'll be dramatically affected once you watched that perfection in itself.

I loved the movie it was so touching to see two be so in love. But then again I didn't like the ending so much because it just tells me that there is really no true love for us girls who love other girls. I can't seem to get this movie out of my head. I thought it was overall good....but it dragged sometimes and the script could have used a little more tightening. But it still has left an emotional effect on me......ugh...I guess Im a sucker for young love/loss movies :P

This fine film gave pause to think about love be it between two women or a woman & a man. The intensity of the young woman's love for the other transcends the gender issue. I absolutely loved this movie... I saw it with my ex-girlfriend, and we were both shocked and argueing with one of her friends who couldn't believe lesbians still have such a hard time to come out of the closet. I had seen the movie cover in Blockbuster one or two times but never picked it up bc I saw the words "erotic" on the front and there would be no way my mom being as over protective as she is let me rent it. I was at my dads one night and it was pretty late, but I couldn't sleep and I found this. I didn't kno it was the same movie. I sat there watching it and I was really happy to see what it was about. Today you don't see movies like that, not that you ever did. But I think Piper Perabo put on an amazing show. It was upsetting to see the ending, and to tell you the truth it still kinda bothers me what Jessica Pare (Tori) did, or didn't do. But I loved the movie, and I can't wait to buy it on DVD. This is the best movie that I have seen in years. It was so real, it really hit home for my girl-friend & I that it is kinda wierd. The love that Paulie had for Tori is so much like the love that I have for Amy. It is amazin the love that they had for one another & the love that I have for Amy, but at the same time it blows b/c we have to hide it from others & not only are we lying to ourshelves but we are lyin to others as well. We have to deny our true self for the pleasure of others. Just so that others are happy even if you are not. I am in a postion like Paulie wanting to scream it out & declare my true feelings for the love of my life but I have to bite my tongue & hold it back at times. Well this movie was seen by accident and it turned out to be pretty good. I see the issue underlying this movie is love and not so much lesbianism. I also believe at some point in your life you will find women attractive and deny the thought of that, for the fear of being recognized as a lesbian. Love is love no matter who you love...

Lost and Delirious has got to be one of the most beautiful movies i have ever seen. i especially like the fact that it was a real "love story" so to say.. instead of a mushy romance movie like they usually are..all i could really think of after i saw it was WOW. the movie is truly just beautiful.

Passionately the best

While the acting was great, the script needed work, and the ending just made my heart sink, and not in a good way.

This movie puts the ideas of peoples' minds into reality. Taking a story that could happen and making it happen, having people realize that sexual discovery is all part of life, and making it okay, even if it is about lesbians. A truly passionate movie, fun to watch.

Finally a movie with lesbian ROMANCE and LOVE. I'm tierd of nudity and prostatution that gives someone like me a bad rep. But there is the ups and downs and may I say "WHY...." I'm sad.

The first time I saw this movie, I cried through the entire thing. And once the credits rolled, I just stared at the blank screen. It is a one of a kind must see movie, and it will be, without a doubt, on your favorites list. there is just no better.

I have to admit I was a little hesitant to seeing this movie. But my baby sister said she loved it and so I thought I would give it a shot. I was engrossed through the whole thing. What Pauly does for Victoria no man would do for a woman. Come on ladies, really think about that. Would your man even challenge another man? No, they assume that you are theirs, end of story. I really liked this movie, and found it's subject matter refreshing compared to the same crap that has been dominating the box office. However, while some parts of the movie expressed the turbulant emotions and issues young women deal with in this day and age in an accurate and intimate way, some parts of the script were...well...silly. It was the kind of thing where you'r enot sure whether to be very serious or chuckle. Despite this, the acting was beautifully done, and I expect to see more from these young actresses.… Expand
