Sep 29, 20119"Monsters Inc." is the milestone animation of Pixar's big debut to the 21st century. As expecting, the film is amazing, containing good morals that audience of every age can understand and appeal. Two thumbs up!!!
-
Aug 6, 201110One of the greatest movies I've ever seen. The characters are likeable and the story is original and heartwarming. Disney never fails to entertain both children and adults.

Aug 12, 201110For some reason, though I like almost all Pixar films, this is my undeniable favorite. I don't know whether it's the comedic aspect or the fact that it actually drills in some suspense near the end, but this is that kind of movie that, wherever and whenever I see it on, I will watch it to the very end.

JeffM.Oct 9, 20029I went in prepared for the inevitable mediocre Pixar film -- I mean, how many times can they put out a great movie without offering a lame one eventually? -- but they once again have offered us a visual treat with a story to captivate young and old. The next one will suck though, right? They can't keep achieving greatness, can they??

JessicaP.Jul 11, 200210Luuuuuv-ed it! The movie was so high-larious! I watched it 12 times when it was out in theaters (i only paid 50% of the time). The little "BOO" was really adorable, the detail of the film was so accurate. I loved it. GREAT!

EowynE.Sep 22, 200210Actually I give it an amazing 1,000,000! This is the best film I've eva cn along with The Lord Of The Rings! Very witty! Astounding animation! Fantastic characters! Brilliant casting!

RobertZ.Nov 16, 20016Disappointing script. Short on humor for the adults. Way too cute. None of the wit of the Toy Story movies. Great animation though.
-
-
DaniN.Oct 25, 20023It just was as good as it could have been. Take Toy Story, Monsters Inc. just isn't as good.
-
-
MichelleP.Oct 9, 200210This movie was amazing. The movie was funny, as well as touching (I cried like a baby when Sulley was saying bye to Boo.) The thing that amazed me was that Sulley and Mike looked like monster versions of their voice actors [John Goodman and Billy Crystal] And the villain Randall was just plain cool.

ColeL.Nov 22, 20017A dazzeling movie with realalistic animation. This story is one of the most creative stories, with heaps of goodies inside. Though their comedy does not always work out. The random plot goodies make this movie to be a roller coster.

-
RyanM.Nov 25, 200110While watching "Monsters, Inc." it feels as if you are in an inferno of hilarity. It's the perfect film at the perfect time.

-
KNSatoNov 28, 200110Sweet and funny movie, at turns hilarious and touching. Especially resonant for those of us who appreciate the wonder and cuteness of little girls. The underlying joy of the film's makers shines through.

-
MichaelJ.Nov 4, 200110I believe that this movie shows the ability of Pixar and Disney as a team to produce a great movie. Great characters, color, feel, and comedy.
-
-
JohnW.Nov 4, 20018Not very ground-breaking (except perhaps for the doors-as-roller-coasters scene) but a fine example of the "modern cartoon" genre. Dead-on portrayal of a 2 1/2-year-old's speech patterns and thought process although 2 1/2 year olds don't draw as well as Boo.
-
-
AJNov 6, 20018I think this was a good movie.
-
-
SomeGuyOct 18, 20023What a complete waste of time, at least for an adult. It is totally a children's movie. Yeah the animation is cool and the voices are OK and the premise is amusing -- for the first half hour. After that it's a living hell. Again, recommended for young children with simple tastes ONLY.

CallieR.May 17, 200310Quit comparing this movie to Toy Story all of you! I've seen this movie a million times and I'm still not tired of it. I still laugh and cry when watching this film, and it's a masterpiece if you ask me. Hopefully, "Finding Nemo" will be as good as the Pixar masterpieces like this one.

-
MattE.May 18, 20039Great movie, but doesn't have the wonder of Toy Story or the witty dialogue of Toy Story 2. I did, however, think it was better than A Bug's Life. How it stands to compare with Shrek, I don't know, because I love both of them equally I couldn't say which is better.

Sep 3, 20109One of my favourite Pixar films, and a true popular classic. While it lacks the soul of Toy Story, it's a crackingly good film, with impressive animation and loveable characters. While just missing out on perfection, Monsters Inc. is a brilliant, loveable and well done film that anyone can enjoy.
-
Apr 5, 20119In my opinion, this is probably the least memorable Pixar movie. But on its own, its a very good movie. Better than the other big animated movie released in the same year, Shrek.
-
Oct 31, 20109it doesn't have the same sophistication as Toy Story, but still its an awesome Pixar movie!
-
Nov 23, 20117It was actually rather good and interesting if you ask me. I enjoyed the film quite a bit. The only bad thing is that it can get rather boring towards the middle of the film but it ends perfectly.
-
Mar 26, 20119A fantastic movie that has a touching story, fantastic characters, and a lot of humor, one of the best animated movies for kids of all time, a must watch.
-
May 26, 20129The connection of humans and monsters in this movie is so out of this world, and that is truly proven with its fantastic story. The graphics and visuals are just incredible. It is truly a delight to watch from start to finish, I just cannot fault this wonderful movie. Because of these amazing features, this film is definitely one of Pixar's best..........
-
Aug 12, 20118It is not one of Pixar's absolute masterpieces but it's really funny and its originality definitely makes it a good film worth watching. Not to mention how awesome the voices are

Nov 23, 20118Monsters, Inc. has many reasons to be praised. It has cool characters, a creative job the monsters have to do, and, of course, it's really silly. The movie has outstanding animation with stunning fur design. The story can get pretty bland and thin at times, but it was great otherwise. It has a fairly high "encore" value.
-
Jan 16, 20129Monster's Inc is extremely heartwarming and original along with mostly going for laughs the whole time which it most definitely does. And the film may scare some children but overall it is fantastic. I give this film 86%.
-
Feb 16, 20129I have seen it three times. This movie has both funny and moving scene. I really enjoyed it. If you want to see heartwarming movie, I recommend it to you.
-
Mar 30, 20127Monster inc may not be as good as the other pixar's movies but is still done in a brillant way with funny jokes and a great moral for all while appealing to the our past about the monster in the closet.
-
May 22, 201210I love this movie! It's a work of art made by Pixar in the aspects of comedy, animation, and heartwarming moments. Not to mention the marvelous one-liners and hidden jokes worked into the script so that you have to watch it numerous times to fully appreciate the hidden humor.

60Marvels of animation abound in Monsters, Inc. -- when it comes to irreverent humor and real heart, Monsters doesn't quite measure up.
-
80Confirms that despite all the technical tools at their disposal, one thing counts head and shoulders above razzle-dazzle eye candy (or anything else, for that matter): the story and characters, and Monsters, Inc. introduces worthy additions to the Pixar pantheon.
-
50But Monsters, Inc. -- directed by Pixar soldier Pete Docter, not by master digital comic John Lasseter -- turns out to be stingy on context, commentary, and the prism-ing view of pop culture that made the earlier films mint.
