TimMar 30, 20052Like reality TV, but not entertaining, unless you like watching pathetic losers fail at living.

DonA.Jul 6, 20051Pedantic, predictable and sappy. How much more must we endure these so-called "documentary" films like Naked Fame which are nothing more than infomercials and shameless self promotionals. Colton Ford has about as much talent as any other porn performer. It's all about who you sleep with, and apparently he has slept/schlept with the right folks to get this film made.

SureshN.Mar 24, 200510The film subtley shows how our culture both worships and abhors pornography, and how the values of pornography or almost the same as the values of so-called legitamate entertainment. The portrait of the supportive relationship between the two porn stars is complex and uplifting. The supportive parents are unique and amazing. Not the film I was expecting. Much better.

DonN.Jun 19, 20058Won't be your cuppa tea if you're looking for technical gloss. What makes this compelling are the studies of relationships; from the loving and supportive bond between Colton and Blake, to the nastily exploitative grip of "friend" and ex-manager Kyle Nevins. Goes on your 'Will-See" list.

KevinN.Mar 16, 200510Best documentary of the year yet. 2005 may still be young but it's touching and extremely sexy... yum.

Scenes in which Ford meets with record-industry honchos and a manipulative producer suggest that the music business is almost as exploitative as the porn business.
-
60An engaging and forthright documentary.

There are many dreadful elements in this chronicle of aging gay male porn star Colton Ford's quest for crossover success in the music industry: sub-amateurish camera work, a maddeningly repetitive score, and a listless narrative.
