  • Summary: Jennifer Sitdger (Emily Fradenburgh), a psychiatric patient accused of a violent murder, turns to her court-appointed psychiatrist to prove her innocence and sanity. Her psychiatrist must help her decipher delusion from truth to unravel the mystery of her reality.

    There isn't the faintest glimmer of lived experience to be found here, not the briefest flash of truth.

    Even if we can get past unlikely details (like a mental institution that allows patients to play with scissors), the drab locations and dull performances suck the air out of a story (by Mr. Irving and Rick Santos) that’s every bit as troubled as its unappealing heroine.
