Efron Show's He Is A Real Actor! Not Just A Crappy Disney Star!
The Plot Is Meh But The Acting Is Very Good!

Basic love story. Simple, not too complex. Gives way to several preconceived and incorrect ideas of how the story will go. If you like "chic" flicks and love stories with good looking people, this is your movie.

a great love story with a great cast, story line and romance appeal to the audience and it is defiantly worth seeing. I love everything about this film and everyone should see it. the cast is also well chosen and thought out plus the fact there are lots of hot sweaty scenes to enjoy!! THIS IS MY FAVE ROMANCE MOVIE EVER

A through-and-through weepie that's unlikely to convert any Sparks naysayers. The darker hues of its war-based story nonetheless make the sugary excesses easier to swallow.

"The Notebook" may have had us blubbing but since then Nicholas Sparks adaptions have offered thin pickings for cinemagoers. For all Efron's boyish charms, this one could be the most ordinary of the lot.

As long as Efron's shirt comes off, he could play an accountant and no one in the target audience would care.
