Initially tolerable but increasingly stupid thriller.

So ludicrous in so many different ways it achieves a kind of forlorn grandeur.
  5. A fast, slick, outlandish fiasco that starts out well and then seems to drop right off a cliff.
  6. Full of conspiracies, all The Skulls lacks is a brain.
  7. Antielitist, anti-hypocrisy, pro-feel-good entertainment.

You might not want to pay top dollar for The Skulls, but at the right price, it delivers.

The concept of secret societies has captured people's attention since...forever? "The Skulls" is no different, with its intrigue and a bit of romance. Without giving away plot details, this movie was far more entertaining than the Metacritic score suggests. I actually own this on DVD and would definitely buy this on blu-ray.

    Most importantly... RIP Paul Walker.
