Disney has reinvigorated the Milne series while staying true both to his and illustrator E.H. Shepherd's original artistic visions.
  2. Manages to seem fresh, funny, and original from start to finish.
  3. That there was no squirming among the kids at my screening may be the best recommendation of all.

A gas, full of just enough whiz-bang animation, but not too much to ruin what has always made Pooh and friends -- adventures work in the past.

The kind of sentimental, upbeat and inoffensive children's entertainment parents always hope their kids will like.
  10. A yawning affair that would be a perfectly fine video rental but doesn't really require the big screen.

A pale imitation of the original Winnie the Pooh Disney shorts of the '60s, but a vast improvement on the current Pooh TV series and straight-to-tape specials.

Without question the breeziest viewing experience now available at a multiplex near you.
  16. A conflicted entertainment, compromised by trying too hard to impress the restless, self-referential adults in the audience.
  17. An adequate piece of children's entertainment, though it seems better suited for home viewing...than for the big screen.

By far the least ambitious, and certainly the least interesting, animated feature to come out of Disney in quite some time.
  21. Feels more like an overblown TV special than a grand theatrical release.

Somewhat depressive anecdote drawn out to feature length.

  1. Although through all the cheesy lethargic dialogue and pace, "The Tigger Movie" is a great Pooh movie that teaches some good morales & lessons to young kids. Full Review »
  2. an excellent animated movie!
  3. It doesn't have great animation or quite as clever jokes, but it is loaded with heart and emotion enough to make anyone with a soul go awww. I give this movie 89%. Full Review »
