AndrewM.May 9, 20048A really great film. So lighthearted and whimsical it's amazing it didn't self-destruct...but it didn't! Barrymore is so appealing in this film she's almost unbearable and Sandler is at his deadpan best. He shows all the right emotions when needed. As for the music...aah, the memories!

YoonMinC.Sep 28, 20034Depending on one's feelings about Sandler, he's a cool fool or an insufferable dolt. I lean toward the former, but Wedding Singer has only one genuinely funny scene. And, Drew Barrymore's radiant as the movie's love interest.

Feb 12, 20119I'll say it-I hate most rom-coms. Most are so predictable, flat, dull, and unfunny. But this is awesome! Easily one of the better rom-coms ever made! Sandler and Barrymore have great chemistry, and everyone else is great too. Although its predictable, the acting, funny writng, catchy soundtrack, and nice retro feel make up for it completly!

Aug 19, 20109Wedding singer, getting married himself, becomes friends with waitress, gets jilted at the altar, depression, falls for waitress but she's engaged to Miami Vice jock. Very good 80's parody, feel-good film which I've seen a few times & is still funny. Great detail & jibes at the mid 80's culture together with the outrageous fashions & fads of that era.

Sep 8, 201110Amazing movie. It's touchy and funny. The quintessential romantic-comedy. And the soundtrack is amazing, too. I love 80's music so much, and they make some great choices. The two songs Sandler adds are pretty good as well.

Nov 11, 20114Atleast it beats Jack and Jill, OMG! This movie in my opinion was the only "good" Sandler movie to ever come out. The subtlety of the comedy was good and he wasn't trying to funny "Thank god" although everyone was and they were alot funnier than him.

70Adam Sandler is surprisingly likable as Robbie, a struggling musician who is left at the altar early in this modest romantic comedy.

50This movie desperately wants to be liked. The problem is, there's not much here to like -- at least nothing that's new or interesting.
-
50It is a harmless and occasionally hilarious pop comedy good for a few bargain yuks.
