  1. Could pass for any serial killer movie except for some pertinent philosophizing about the nature of evil and the operations of the soul.
  2. The fairly routine plot is made somewhat more interesting by the infusion of issues regarding morality and faith, but ultimately Three, for all its philosophizing, is little more than a standard serial-killer movie with pretensions.
  3. Unfortunately, the filmmakers failed to replace sex, splatter and cursing with sharp dialogue, characters and plotting.

It did a pretty good job relating to the book, but it could have done better with the effects, although considering the budget, it wasn' that bad. Unfortunetly, most people seem to be distracted by too many things to get the point of the movie...it wasn't to be a blatantly "Christian" movie, but maybe people will read the book and recognize the genius of Ted Dekker. His aunt and family annoyed the heck out of me. The "Riddle Killer" was obviously very similar to the Jigsaw from the "Saw" movies. Main actor was fairly good, supporting cast was so/so. It's not a horrible movie, but it's not something I would really recommend. Expand
