Sep 15, 201110Pertaining everything from story depth to animation, Pixar has created a movie that is considered a true cinematic masterpiece; the movie of my life. Cheers Pixar!!!
-
Mar 17, 201110The movie that made Pixar really significant, and one of the most nostalgic movies I have known of. I love the characters, the design, the story, and the animation. It's because Pixar is one of the animation studios that can do this extremely well.
-
PatS.Sep 14, 20053Complete rip off of the underrated cult-classic `The Brave Little Toaster'. Just about every Pixar film hailed for its 'originality' has its roots planted elsewhere. Monsters Inc = Aaaah! Real Monsters, The Incredibles = Fantastic Four, so on and so forth.

-
DaveHDec 5, 20096There's nothing special about this movie, it has only received acclaim because it was the first computer animated film, I'd compare its plot to Ant Bully or Open Season, they are about the same level.

Aug 11, 201110Incredible groundbreaking-animation, fun action thrills, very funny voices and characters as real as any live-action film are what make this (first) Pixar effort a true masterpiece

BuzzLightyearApr 9, 200510This movie is fantastic. Handling serious issues (like the fear to be thrown away when you're old and ugly) in a sincere and hilarious way. You'll find your self watching it over and over with your kids.

Apr 7, 201110Spectacular masterpiece that made Pixar famous, revolutionized movies the same way Star Wars did, and introduced people to one of the best trilogies ever!
-
Jan 23, 201310An absolute masterpiece that defines my childhood. There is nothing wrong with Toy Story. This movie, undoubtedly, has changed the way animation is forever.
-
BrendanCofrinJan 6, 20040It was the worst thing ever to appear on a movie screen. unless you're a 2 year old, then you shouldn't be watching this crap anyway! All you people that gave this score a 10 sould reconsider your thoughts. NOW!!!!!

JoeB.Mar 10, 200510This movie owns! If you have never watched Toy Story, I think you have lived in a cave for 10 years!

Jan 4, 201110A great movie for everybody. Not my favourite movie but it deserves a ten.
-
Aug 2, 20128Pixar truly creates excellent movies for kids. Toy Story has to be one of the best children movies ever created. It's funny, witty and exciting. Kids will definitely love this film. My score: 81/100

-
LeoJan 3, 200610When I was a child I used to love this film and now I can understand the jokes that my parents laughed at when, which is the whole brilliance of the film, it is fun for everyone. It deserves 10 just for the joy it brought to me as a child.

BrandonK.Mar 27, 200710Brilliant film. The best animated film ever made by a country mile.

Ikarus14Aug 3, 200910Not only did this film prove what animation could really do, but it joins the list of films that you should see before you die (at least twice actually). Even to this day of 2009 the animation is still very impressive because not a single frame of film is misused or wasted, so every single one pulls you into the story and refuses to let you go. A pure masterpiece!

MichelleP.Oct 26, 20026I know. I'll bet you can't believe I gave it this grade, but it's the truth. It just didn't give me that, "WOW! That movie was sooo incredibly great!" feeling like the other Pixar movies did. Sorry, but it's an opinion, not a fact. You'll like this movie better than I did.

AlyssaS.Dec 13, 20037I liked toy story. But why I rate it a 7 is because I't is'nt my favorite show but it was'nt the worst show I have ever seen either.
-
-
AMovieCriticAug 7, 20039Much better than any of Pixar's newer movies. (Toy Story 2, Monsters INC, etc.)
-
-
YoonC.Sep 21, 20037I have a natural prejudice against this kind of cuteness but it's pretty effective for what it is. There are moments which are even disquieting with a surreal touch.

-
BobNov 5, 200410It's not a great movie in the sense of a movie like the godfather, but it's a great movie because it's fun. It's funny, lighthearted and in the end an excellent movie.
-
-
KelseyS.Oct 6, 200410This movie is funny and wonderful for people of all ages!!!
-
-
90Though computer-animated rather than hand-drawn, this wry, rippingly paced buddy movie is as delightful in its own way as any of Walt Disney's traditional fairy tales.
-
80Once again Disney has come up with a winning animated feature that has something for everyone on the age spectrum.
-
75The first all computer-animated feature, which brings a bedroom of playthings to bouncy life, is yummy eye candy spiked with 3-D-style tactile treats.
