    OK, the critics shouldn't even be ALLOWED to rate a an anime movie show. Had they seen the show and read the manga, they would change their minds.

    Kinda like a mature-rated RPG in movie form, it felt as though I was watching some Japanese game in animation. The story is one that's been seen in countless games and anime, but it was still enjoyable considering the Legend of Dragoon/Final Fantasy X/Shin Megami Tensei influences.

    It doesn't tap deeply enough into any of the characters to compel us to identify with one or another.
