Biography: David Naughton was born to Joseph and Rosemary Naughton. He is formally trained in drama and dance, having graduated from the prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts. In the early 1970s, he returned to the US to seek his fame and fortune in New York. He landed minor dancing roles off of Broadway, but his breakthrough role occurred when he was cast to star in a Dr. Pepper advertising campaign. In the commercials, David sang and danced his way to national recognition. He quickly took advantage of his national exposure to land roles on Broadway, in television, and in the movies. Unfortunately, his career never really progressed beyond low budget movies and the occasional supporting and guest role on TV.
