Glen A. Larson

Biography: Glen Larson is a television writer and producer who wrote for and developed popular television series in the 1970s and 1980s. Among his most famous creations are the original Battlestar Galactica series, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, The Fall Guy, and Knight Rider. He was an executive producer for McCloud, BJ and the Bear and many other series.

His shows were generally considered to be family friendly, although they were not always received warmly by television critics. Early in his career, he was a member of The Four Preps. That singing group scored hits like "26 Miles," "Big Man" and "Down By the Station." A practicing member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he used elements of his Mormon faith in the Battlestar Galactica series. When NBC Universal and the Sci Fi Channel released a "reimagined" version of the series in 2003, Larson was given a writing credit under the pseudonym Christopher Eric James. He is also credited as a consulting
