Jacek Koman

Biography: Jacek is pronounced "Yaht-zek". Jacek Koman was born and raised in Poland. in 1978, he graduated from the State Academy of Film, Television, and Theatrical Studies in Lodz with a Masters in Dramatic Arts and proceeded to star in numerous productions with the Polish Theatre Company, on Television and Featurd Films. Since than in Australia, he has worked in Theatre throughout the Country, establishing a stage career, preforming a great range of projects for many theatre companys. Consistently working with directors such as Neil Armfield, whom directed "Angels in America" with Jacek. With "Angels in America" Jacek has won both the 1993 Victorian Green Room Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and the 1994 Age Performing Arts Award for Best Dramatic Performance. In 2001 Jacek starred in the movie "Moulin Rouge" as the Narcoleptic Argentinean. The movie was a succes. Also Jacek Koman has a daughter named Clementine Coco who was born July, 2001 to actress Catherine McClements. Expand
