Josh Hamilton

Biography: A native New Yorker, Josh Hamilton was born in 1969. His father is actor/director (As The World Turns, current) Dan Hamilton. His first theatrical experience was watching his dad perform in the Off-Broadway production of Godspell at the tender age of three. He began to act professionally during his teenage years. He furthered his education at Brown University and studied with William Esper at the Neighborhood Playhouse. An established stage actor he has appeared in lots of productions which include, Women And Wallace/Playwrights Horizons, As Bees In Honey Drown/Drama Dept., The Cider House Rules, The Waverly Gallery and many more, too numerous to list. He also directed Little Bites by Pippin Parker (brother of Sarah Jessica Parker) for the Naked Angels Theatre Company. Josh is a co-founder of The Malaparte Theatre Company. He has been nominated for many awards and in 1992 won a daytime Emmy Award for his performance in the CBS Schoolhouse Break production of Abby, My Love. He lives in New York City. Expand
