Biography: KURT RUSSELL has delivered memorable comedic and dramatic film performances for over 30 years and has teamed up with director John Carpenter five times. Their collaborations include Escape From L.A., The Thing, Big Trouble In Little China, Escape From New York and the acclaimed telefilm Elvis. He also starred in the hits Executive Decision, Tombstone, Breakdown and Stargate.

Russell's other credits include Silkwood, Used Cars, Swing Shift, Overboard, Tequila Sunrise, Tango & Cash, Backdraft, The Mean Season, The Best of Times, Winter People, Captain Ron, and Unlawful Entry. As a young actor with Disney, he completed 10 films, including Follow Me Boys, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, The Barefoot Executive and The Fox and the Hound, in addition to several episodes of The Wonderful World of Disney. His other television credits include Amber Waves and The Deadly Tower, in which Russell portrayed Texas murderer Charles Whitman.
