Larry Webster was born in Covington, Kentucky in the summer of 1968. At age 7, his father, an electronics engineer, moved the family to Southern California, where his love for the arts flourished. An accomplished guitar player, Webster began playing with various punk rock groups around LA in his late teens. It was in 1984 while filming scenes for the punk rock film Suburbia, that Webster discovered his real passion was in filmmaking. After appearing in several scenes of the film, it was obvious to those around him, that Webster was more interested in the behind the camera action, than his acting.
After enrolling in college and striking out on his own, Webster dabbled in various small productions and music videos, which served to quench his thirst for both music and film. His career however would be derailed for a while in 1990, when tensions broke out in the Middle East. Webster decided that his time had come to serve the needs of his country and after a year long training stint in Biloxi, Mississippi, Webster was headed overseas for Gulf War duty.
After 6 years of serving our nation overseas, Webster returned to California and quickly returned to the entertainment industry. Since 1996, Webster had worked as both a producer and director on several feature films, music videos and short films, as well as being the CEO of Media Magik Entertainment Group.
Webster now resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife of 15 years Raquel, and two daughters, Cailin and Danielle.
