Lois Hall

Biography: Lois Hall was born in a small Minnesota town, in 1926. As a youth she moved with her family to Long Beach, California where she had her first experience with theatre as a set designer, stage manager and head electrician. She earned a scholarship to the Pasadena Playhouse where she became bitten by the "acting bug". She began her film career in 1947.

Lois married Maruice Willows in 1953. Following the birth of their first daughter, in 1957, the couple moved to the California desert and then Hawaii for seven years. Their second daughter was born was born in the islands. Soon after the Willows returned to their Beverly Hills home, their third daughter was born. Maury died of cancer in 1995. Through the years, the Lois has been active in the Baha'i Faith, working for the unity of mankind and world peace. Lois has spent many years as an elected member of the administrative body for the Baha'i's of Los Angeles – for many years, she served as the Assembly's secretary. Lois

Lois returned to occasional work in the film industry and has appeared in more films and television shows. In recent years, Miss Hall has been invited to be a special guest at various film festivals across the country, and is delighted both the renew old friendships with those who were part of the "western stock company" so many years -- and to make new friends with the wonderful people who so faithfully attend the festivals.
