Biography: Funny, intelligent Michael Showalter hails from hometown Princeton, NJ, and graduated from Brown University. He co-starred in the underappreciated but cult-following-inspiring weekly variety sketch "The State" on MTV from 1994 - 1996. Michael's projects have included the three-man show "STELLA" with David Wain and Michael Ian Black. The show has toured the country and produced a DVD of STELLA shorts, which are shown at the shows. Michael shows talent as a budding filmmaker and screenwriter as well. He co-wrote and co-produced "Wet Hot American Summer", which has grown into a Rocky Horror-like cult classic with midnight screenings, costumes, and parties. Michael is currently at work filiming and starring in his next production, "The Baxter"
