Rachel Ward

Biography: Breathtakingly beautiful British actress who caused many a young man's jaw to drop in awe during the early 80's when she appeared in films like Sharkey's Machine, Against All Odds, and Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid. Ward created a sensation on television with her role as Meggie Cleary on the mini-series The Thornbirds in which she co-starred with Richard Chamberlain and future husband Bryan Brown. She married Brown in 1984 and then settled down in Australia to raise a family which eventually came to number three children but still has found time to appear in an occasional film or TV movie.
