It doesn't matter how fun a game is when more time is spent in menus than in the heat of combat.

This billiards puzzle game is a little too minimalistic for its own good.

Construction Simulator 2 is a all right time, but it's also a game that doesn't really jive with mobile gaming. It's a slow and deliberate game that rewards patience and accuracy on a platform that's ideal for quick experiences using a (somewhat imprecise) touchscreen. It's not exactly a bad game. I had quite a bit of fun with Construction Simulator 2 at times, but it also tested my patience constantly.

With the addition of new settings with the charm of Circus, more robust multiplayer action – and my personal wish – an endless mode that gets progressively harder, Woody Woodpecker could be epic. As it stands, it's a great bet for kids, a kick for nostalgia junkies and for all, at $.99 for a universal build, it definitely offers some ha-ha-ha-HA-ha's!

While Starbunker: Guardians 2 is a great looking game in many ways, it lacks a lot of the detailed design that goes into a truly memorable game. It also lacks engaging gameplay and only offers a few unique features to keep players interested.

Aside from the few nagging issues, Heroes Lore is an incredibly deep RPG experience (over 30 hours of gameplay) that will surely satisfy anyone who appreciates a good, old school RPG.

I cannot emphasize enough how overpriced Luxor HD is. $9.99 for a simple arcade-style game, no matter how well realized, is just too much to ask. I suggest waiting for the inevitable release of Zuma for the iPad.

Despite the problematic controls that occasionally get in the way, Elevator Zombies is still a lot of fun. Having a bit more diversity to the buildings (i.e. special level conditions specific to each theme) would have been cool and seems like a missed opportunity, but there's still plenty of old-school goodness to appease fans of the long-dead franchise.
