The game does look quite good, especially considering that it’s not very taxing on your computer.

It’s enormous fun if you’re a fan and atmospheric in a way very different from "Doom 3" - a horror of another kind. Although slightly shorter than before, the end is just as dramatic and intense as Stalingrad, and is perhaps a campaign with better flow overall.

While tennis games do have a set type of person who will like them, Smash Court Tennis Pro Tournament 2 performs so well that I can’t imagine anyone disliking it unless they want a much simpler version (in which case buy the original Smash Court Tennis for the PS one).

A brilliant game – not only because of its amazing gameplay but also because the game combined with "City of Heroes" creates a complete comic book universe with heroes and villains.

With around 50 hours (if you play both sides) of immersive RPGing and several different possible conclusions for both Dark and Light side players, you’re getting good value for money. Just try not to sweat the ending too much.

For an action adventure it's the almost the complete package; great graphic design, attention to detail, excellent controls and camera and well thought out levels and encounters.

Remember to check out if your machine matches the minimum specs or else you’ll get disappointed. We actually recommend that you are closer to the recommended specs if you want it to run properly.

I loved the sheer amount to do within the game and hope for a next gen Kingdom Hearts 3 in the same way the Final Fantasy series never fails to engross me for an exorbitant amount of time.

A great round of applause then for DICE for making a game that improves the concept and gameplay as well as Battlefield 2 does it.

While there are deeper thrills to be found within "Virtua Fighter," Tekken 5 offers one of the most accessible and exciting entries into the genre.

Even better than the excellent Xbox version. While it may not have the high profile of "Half-Life 2," it really is one of the better FPS titles you'll play this year. Take the chance, you won't be disappointed.

Quite possibly the best basketball game you can get right now on the PS2 and dare I say it, on any platform.

The graphics are simply state of the art. Virtual Lego, and perfectly implemented.

Casting morality aside for one moment, GTA: SA is a glorious thrilling ride of delinquency. It offers just enough freedom, and more than enough violence, to make for a truly epic game.

Few will tire of the almost endless possibilites available to England, Germany, Russia and so on. There will probably never be a more realistic and detailed WW2 game for the PC, and if this is the sort of thing that floats your boat, go buy it now.

The graphics and art direction, the slow unveiling of the story of Rapture’s fall, the sheer creepiness of it all, and the gameplay which, quite often, makes almost every shooter until now seem rather dull in comparison.

A fantastic achievement for a first gen PSP title, it is immensely playable and arguably the best Ridge Racer on any console or hand-held to date.

Stardock has created a deep, intelligent, yet not too serious strategy game that’s going to be the best of its class for quite a while.

I'm genuinely struggling to overcome just how amazing WOP really is. To cram top-notch graphics, an enviably smooth control system, a soundtrack that would stand alone as a CD release and raw, unadulterated fun into a handheld game is beyond my comprehension.

The real meat and potatoes of the game lies in the championship mode. Hardcore fans of the sport will be delighted to know that it is an exact reproduction of the real life version.

Perhaps the most pleasing aspect of this new game is that instead of some series being good and others (such as rallying) being very poor, the general quality level of each type of racing is very high.

A more focused game than the GTA series and you're more likely to plough ahead and actually get somewhere with the story. Those of you who found the scale of San Andreas a little bewildering and ultimately off-putting will find a challenge here more to your liking.
