You might be surprised that this game isn't an Xbox game when you first see it on the TV. It looks great and while it does have some telltale signs of being a PS2 game, it's still absolutely gorgeous. -

Midway has perfectly translated SPY HUNTER into the 3D world and everything feels just right. -

From the little details on the cars up to the driving physics, everything is dead on. I know a little bit about racing concepts (speed limits? What are those?), and the game executes them with near perfection. -

The best football game of the season. Unlike a lot of football games, the changes to this game aren’t just cosmetic. The result is the most realistic football game you can own. -

The graphics are beautiful. The back drops are excellent and the character models look great. Color abounds in this eye-candy filled title. I wish some of the animations and moves had been changed up a bit, but what are you going to do? -

The game looks ten times more impressive that its predecessor, and really outshines almost any other console first-person shooter on the market right now. Explosions look extremely realistic, and the enemies are modeled and rendered pretty well. -

Without a doubt the most realistic basketball game ever to hit the market. It’s got everything a fan could want: franchise mode, online mode, create a player, and the best gameplay around. -

This is a game that needs to be played on Surround Sound (Pro Logic) or with a good set of headphones. It needs to be loud in the room, and it needs to be dark. It should be like any good horror movie. -

The first thing gamers will notice is that the levels are huge, the goals are plentiful, and basically its everything you know and love about Tony Hawk, except bigger. -

Liberty City looks phenomenal and there's plenty of life and atmosphere that impresses. The different textures, solid framerate and incredible diversity make this one of the most impressive PS2 games yet. -

There is a decidedly cool sense of style to Ratchet & Clank. The game feels much like the classic sci-fi movies, very rounded and artistic, almost retro at times. -

The game is supposed to be pure action and loads of fun, and Fistfull of Boomstick certainly delivers. -

An awesome sequel to Frequency and one of the best music games on the PlayStation 2. -

The sound is the best part of the game, with all of the fight songs, and one of the best crowds ever. -

This game really shines with its environment models. Every part of the environment seems real, from the grass swaying in the breeze or the ripples on the water as you run through it. -

There are a lot of difficult levels, a lot of difficult enemies. It’s awesome. I appreciate a good challenge in today’s games, and JAK II offers it. It’s plenty long too, and will keep you playing for a good time. -

More than just an expansion - technically, I think the game could be considered a sequel with all the depth that is in the game. If you have Reign of Chaos, this is a must buy for you and RTS fans everywhere. -

With the incredible soundtrack and the emotions that the game invokes, Frontline is one of the best games of the year. -

The best Warcraft game, possibly the best strategy game, released yet. -

The player models are much more realistic, players show emotion, and pretty much everything has been given a facelift. The animation, framerate, textures - it’s all very impressive. -

What’s so awesome is that you get to hear good music come together while playing an addictive game. -

What’s so cool about the game is that anyone can pick up and play, and can get into the deep simulation that the game is. I like that fact a lot. [Score = A+] -

What’s awesome about the gameplay is that you can just pick up a controller and start fighting. Three buttons (block, kick, punch) are all that are needed to master a basic set of moves. -

Astoundingly beautiful. From the sunset, to the rain effects, to the guard animation - everything is very well done. There’s dynamic cloth effects, beautiful lighting and most importantly, some incredible textures to round it off. [Grade = A+] -

One of the biggest things ICO has going for it is the incredible environmental graphics. The power of the Playstation 2 creates a world that you can almost feel and smell. [Grade = A+] -
