I played it for a long time and I never really got used to some of the control issues - not that they make the game un-playable, obviously, far from it - they're just nagging.

The camera is a bit odd and the fact that almost all of the RPG elements have been removed may turn some people off, but the fact remains that Lament of Innocence is a fantastic classically inspired game that both hardcore fans of the series and action/platform gamers can enjoy.

An excellent mix of exceptional graphics, incredible music and voice acting and incredibly fun gameplay.

I won’t deny that this game is the veritable oddball in the Final Fantasy family – the guy at the table with numerous facial tattoos and body piercings – with the rest of his family being straight laced and true to the expectations of society – but that is why I enjoyed it so much.

Completes the R-Type legacy and does so with an incredible mixture of graphics, sound and gameplay… and if that’s not enough, how does unlocking over 100 different playable ships grab you?

A lot of fun and allows you to create and design the doodle of your dreams. While the gameplay itself is shallow, the doodling is as deep as the ocean.

Its attention to detail, exciting gameplay, immersive graphics and wonderful soundtrack make the game a great buy.

One of the most enjoyable breaks from traditional gaming to date. The possibilities are endless, the amusement factor is high, and the gameplay is quite easy to learn.

To be fair, the game is essentially DDRMAX with slightly better graphics and new songs. I would have preferred it if the new graphics and songs were an add on disc… as nothing is really added to the game to differentiate it.

Underground is not perfect – but for a game with such a fairly short development cycle it certainly does put on a fantastic show.

A game that will quickly be embraced by fans of the original series; fans of VII and VIII, however, might feel a bit alienated by all of the changes that have been made.

Gnarly. This is a must-own for all PSP skateboarding fans.

Honor Among Thieves does steal a bit from the previous installments, but still ends up beating the rap most franchises suffer from: repetitive game play.

Electroplankton is not a game in any sense of the word. It is art, plain and simple.

Characters may seem clichéd and the plot itself may feel repeated, but the game offers up a gameplay experience that is simply fantastic.

The Enchanted Forest is outlined in such vibrant colors, you'll want to check to see if your screen is actually dripping with paint.

The online is fantastic, the voice communication is unbelievable and the game packs everything else you need for a true SOCOM experience in your hands.

An absolute blast to play. The only issue I have with it is that, even with all the side-quests (excluding your gold hunt) the game is rather short. Everything else is superbly set together.

If I were to describe this game in a single word, I would simple say, "Vast."

The latest installment in the Shadow Hearts series will have fans of the first two clamoring for more. Those just joining the series, prepare for a RPG unlike anything you have ever played before.

King Kong himself may be billed as the "Eighth Wonder of the World", but his video game exploits, while certainly a stunning visual wonder, is far too short and too shallow to be touted as anything but simple entertainment.

Animal Crossing: Wild World can be summed up in two words: Time sucker.

Some may start a game of Central Park and laugh at the amusing graphics and simplistic gameplay, only to find themselves losing the game within two minutes. Seriously, some of the games look easy, but are deceptively hard.

Halo 3 will not revolutionize the first person shooter, nor is it taking the Halo franchise to anyplace really new. What it does do is deliver the penultimate Halo experience with improved graphics and tons of MP features.

The gameplay remains true to the original, with fast-paced, juggle-savy fighting that provides some memorable action for fans and non-fans alike. Though "Guilty Gear" may be prettier, SFA gets the action down perfectly.

The controller is a very suitable replacement for the mouse, the situations within the game are appealing and interesting, plus you can play online with up to four people.

It is a classic in every sense of the word and while not perfect, still retains the fun and feel of the old school game, but with some new school treats that will make you smile from ear to ear.
