Orcs Must Die is a fine game, not just because of the hybrid concept between real time strategy and action, but also for its accessible gameplay that allows anyone to play without a tutorial. The 50 action packed levels full of smooth gameplay are a true bargain at 15 Euros on Live Marketplace and 10,99 Euros on Steam. OMD! misses the excellence just because of the absence of multiplayer: with a coop mode it would have been great.

Though being a well-crafted game that will surely please fans of the series and genre, Resistance 3 fails to reach pure excellence due to some unattended promises and a far too classical concept that lacks any sort of innovation. Orcs Must Die! 2 is the natural evolution of the first chapter and, for tower defence co-op lovers, is truly a must buy. The fun of this new multiplayer mode balances the lack of evolution in the gameplay and, for 13 Euros, it would be embarrassing to ask for more.

This Ratchet & Clank Trilogy is less useful than the Jak & Daxter HD Collection, but it still good, actually. Every chapter of this nice saga looks quite similar to the other Ratchet & Clank games, but if you like these kinds of experiences, you'll find tons of fun in this Trilogy.

L.A. Noire is one of the greatest titles of this year and the real crime is that up to now PC players couldn't play it.

This iOS dedicated version of the latest Visceral Games creation captures very well the atmosphere and the gameplay of the saga. Maybe it's a little more action than survival horror and sometimes is too repetitive, but in the end it's a solid game that will not disappoint Dead Space's fans.

Dust: An Elysian Tail is good but not great. The graphics are gorgeous, but every other aspect of the game feels like it is incomplete, or simply ruined from bad design choices. Anyway, the experience is still good enough to grant some honest fun. 1200 MP are way too much, 800 would be much better.

Just like its predecessor, Valkyria Chronicles II proves to be an absolute must buy. The strategy/RPG/action mix is yet again a winning one that makes this game one of the best products currently available on Sony's handheld. Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 adds some new characters to the previous roster, has a brand new balance between the fighters and corrects few major issues of Marvel vs Capcom 3. With Darkstalkers Resurrection Capcom has done a great job, creating an appealing collection at the right price. Both Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge and Darkstalkers 3 are deep and entertaining, with tons of interesting options to play with.

Rockstar did it again. The 10th Anniversary Edition is probably the best mobile porting possible for the R* masterpiece, with amazing graphics, deep gameplay and a reactive control system. The online experience is ruined by constant lag. If you LOVE Tekken, you'll like this game even for the offline multiplayer only, but other ways looks for a better beat'em up.

Dead or Alive 5 Plus is a great porting of a solid fighting game. Cross Play is the perfect feature to use in order to share the Team Ninja-powered fighting experience with a big fanbase. The Touch Combat mode is a gimmick, but other features grant hours of intense and entertaining gameplay.

With Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Platinum Games and Kojima Production worked in perfect harmony creating a fine piece of art. Fast and excellent gameplay hugs Kojima's elegant, intense and detailed storytelling. Few technical issues and a bunch of bad design choices ruin the experience, but the final result is still greatly entertaining.

Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny is a hell of a beat 'em up, perfect for the ad hoc fights with friends and to spend hours to modify you characters using the complete editor. Unfortunately, the inexplicable lack of any multiplayer mode, deprives the game of the depth offered from the challenges with the other players all over the world, a must for this kind of games.

The Vita version of Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 is really impressive. The graphics are as sharp and stunning as the one in the original version of this crazy fighting game. The new touch mechanics are kind of useless, though, but the final experience is still very good.

This may well be the last great jRPG on Wii, so if you're a fan of the genre you really shouldn't miss it.

Its limits are in fact strengths dictated by the developers' purpose: to offer an accessible music creator that might unlock the doors for those that, one day, could find themselves composing music.

The last chapter of Alan Wake is without any doubt the best one among the DLCs released up to now, but it's a little bit too expensive considering you will complete it in around one hour and a half. Same goes for The Signal, but that one was for free with the original game.

With Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, Capcom has done a great job offering a refined experience to both new players and hardcore fans of this fantasy game. If you've never played Dragon's Dogma this is a must buy, hands down.
