Genre fans will of course be happy of this revival, but the writing isn't as good as we hoped.

First act of an announced trilogy, The Fall has an impressive story and a compelling setting. Its gameplay is not as brilliant, but there's space for improvements.

Adr1ft is a short, narrative experience that follows the lead of Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, Dear Esther and other so called "walking simulators". The first part of the game has a more elaborate gameplay (asking the player to manage the oxygen reserves), but in the end all that matters is the compelling atmosphere.

It's an entertaining rhythm game, but the musical choice makes it interesting just for Japan culture fans.

This puzzle platformer starts great, then looses some of its momentum along the way. It's still a small, curious project, and it might be really worth a try.

Black Desert Online is impressive on the technical standpoint, and sets a new standard for MMOs. On the other side the character progression is heavily based on grinding and the structure is complex and somehow overwhelming. The game has a well designed gameplay and a solid endgame; the fans of the genre should definitely give it a try.

An interesting space exploration game, bestowed with an almost magnetic feeling. Not a game for everyone, as it can be really complex at times, but still a good overall experience.

Released in Japan last October, God Eater Resurrection has given back to the original game the popularity it deserved. To this day is undoubtedly the best alternative to Monster Hunter.

A bold, but wealthy debut, Downward recovers the lessons of much more sophisticated parties like Mirror's Edge to form a solid title, fully aware of their limitations.

There are far better rhythm games connected to famous JRPG sagas, but this one can still deliver some moments of good fun.

It's a package filled with content, to the point that even fans of the original could consider this last round. Considering the lack of fighting games on the current gen, it's a solid offer, even if gameplay and some aspects of the graphics can feel dated.

A nice online experience but a trivial main adventure, dull and repetitious. If you are not scared by creepy graphics, and you like multiplayer madness, you should give Transformers a chance.

Even without any affinity with the core installment of Ridge Racer, Unbounded, thanks to some interesting game mechanics and a solid multiplayer, manages to be a good arcade racing game.

One step forward and two steps back. The handling model and the graphics at last received a necessary overhaul, but the game presents itself stripped of career and alternative modes, slightly bugged and still missing a convincing collision system. It will still please fans of the saga who don't care about progression, but for the full package we'll probably have to wait until next year.

Rabbid's Big Bang, despite its extreme simplicity, involves a lot of fun for a few "hit and run" rounds.

Opening up the levels could've been a great push forward for the brand, but it has brought a whole new breed of issues to the table. AI lacks perception, bugs show up all too often, and objectives are repetitive. The sniping, that still works well, even if untouched from the previous chapter.

It's a fair expansion, but once again grinding is the key to level up (and this time, it's even more with FATE quests), and more variety in the beasts and overall offer could have helped.

It's an interesting space themed vertical scroller. Don't expect anything too complicated though, it's just easy going entertainment, but still very well executed.
