If you look at Thief like it's a series of sneaking puzzles, it works just fine. You really do feel like a master thief when sneaking from shadow to shadow unseen and relieve every area of its valuable contents. It fails in almost every other way though.

Yoshi's New Island is the cheerful, solid platformer you'd expect it to be, but doesn't win an award for originality. New features and the gyroscope make for some variation, but because of the simple nature of the game, there's little reason to get everything out of it.

There's music in Dominique Pamplemousse in It’s All Over Once The Fat Lady Sings! The experiment has a unique charm thanks to the fusion of games and musicals, but fails as an adventure.

We’ve had a good time with this goat and its bizarre physics and a longing for destruction, despite the countless bugs and scanty content. Lovers of goat simulators definitely should play Goat Simulator, because it’s the best one over made, without a doubt.

FarmVille 2: Country Escape does what you'd expect a social farming simulator to do. Developer Zynga has given the competition the space to introduce strong alternatives, like Hay Day. And righly so, because in the end, that's the better farming game.

The cheerful appearance and adult racism-metaphor suggest that The Last Tinker: City of Colors could be an intelligent piece of art. Nothing could be farther from the truth; they remain charming shells for a decent platformer.

Always Sometimes Monsters is an intellectual RPG-like variant in the Choose Your Own Adventure genre. Unfortunately, the game is not as clever as it wants to be. The ethical choices seem to have a big impact, but afterwards you find out you have only chosen from a limited number of flavors. Moreover, the annoying RPG Maker engine causes the real potential of the game to be absent.

In Sheep's Clothing ties together loose ends and answers a lot of questions. This episode is more a movie than it is game, but entertained us nonetheless. However, there are so many things obvious now - story-wise - that you wonder what else is coming up in the series.

The capabilities of next-generation gaming and Ignite Engine can't be seen in EA Sports UFC. This has not only to do with poor qualities, but also with the lack of options and modes. This painful conclusion is only more painful because of the fact that the game is therefore a much lesser game than the nearly three-year-old UFC Undisputed 3.

Gods Will Be Watching could’ve been one of the best indie games of 2014. A challenging adventure about making deadly choices. A game we would’ve loved to mention in a single breath together with The Banner Saga, Papers Please and The Walking Dead. Unfortunately, the developers focused too much on a risk management game mechanic, which is more irritating than emotionally moving.

CounterSpy primarily relies on its looks. The use of propaganda in the dialogue, an overly communist style and countless references to spy tactics depict a Cold War atmosphere not unlike in the Bond movies with Sean Connery. The cartoony art style helps to distinguish the game from other similar titles, but its not enough to cover up a lack of complex gameplay.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel does not feel like a new game at all. Laserguns and the changed gravity do no really add much. Claptrap with his funny comments makes this game enjoyable.

A new track-list and a variety of fun features make Just Dance 2015 a nice dance game. But the lag and the fact that only one profile can be used in multiplayer are a big party-stopper.

There are many reasons why The Crew should get an F: steering the cars is iffy, the story is horrendous, the multiplayer options are weak and visually speaking the game is simply average. That being said, if you are a roadtripper, the gorgeously designed, huge gameworld makes up for that.

Simulating a realistic driving experience is something Polyphony Digital has mastered. The tragic part of this game is the lack of cars and tracks. The bad AI and low number of participants in a race bring the experience down. The biggest problem is the lack of focus thanks to the completely detached races: Gran Turismo PSP would have greatly benefited from a career mode. Only the biggest GT-fan will spend hours expanding his car collection thanks to its long-windedness.

Depsite being a serious game, Disaster offers a funny mixture of different gameplay elements. The game tries to trick the gamer into thinking he isn't playing a compilation of minigames and almost succeeds in his mission. Too bad the game lets you do to many times all at once so that it's hard for you to keep focused.

Killing for money is almost as good as gaming for money. That's why Mercenaries 2 is in theory a great game. But three and a half years after the first Mercenaries there hasn't been much of a change. Even the same antique design flaws are still present. Nevertheless the sheer size of the game and ability to destroy almost anything makes up for a lot of ground.

Bleach Shattered: Blade is an average game. There is actually nothing wrong with the game, but it's also not that special. Die-hards of this series might find satisfaction in buying this game, but other people are advised to ignore this game.

The vehicles in the game are kind of clumsy, especially the planes. Instead of gaining speed with jeeps and quads, you're better of by foot.

The Saboteur had a lot of potential thanks to the unique setting, but this hasn’t resulted in a good game. The story never gets really interesting and the gameplay is too bare-bones to really make an impression. Not a great farewell for Pandemic Studios.

Heroes 2 seems to be very limited. There is some fun to be had in the arcade-mode in singleplayer, but it lacks the option to play through with a friend. The game is the first online shooter for the Wii, and 32 players simultaniously at that. In combination with the excellent controls, Heroes 2 is a recommended purchase until the real shooters arrive on the system.

    Wet
Wet is off to a great start. The Grind house-movie-flavor works and the music is upbeat. The first four hours fly by thanks to the gameplay and a very nice looking Ruby. But after that, it gets repetitive. There's a lack of variation and challenge. When you die, you don't get the feeling it's your fault. And at the end, you get into a boss fight that's a real disappointment. Wet is a game that really entertains for a while and after that doesn't offer enough. This makes the game ideal to pick up when the price drops, to complete it on a rainy Sunday.

Bomberman Land is an average title. The storymode is a nice challenge to play. But after some while the storymode becomes quite boring because of its repeating assignments and minigames. The game has to thank its result mostly by adding the superb original Bomberman.

This game is meant to be played with three other people. With two or on your own, it is a boring affair. With 1800 different questions and a bunch of moviescenes, you can definitely have fun for a few nights, especially if you and your friends are movie-lovers. If you're not that much at home with the cinema, this game isn't meant for you.

Jack Keane is a good adventure game if you are looking for some nice puzzles to spend your time with. The game doesn't convince us when it comes to the character, because that's a thing in which adventure games should be the best. A big environment and hours of gameplay makes the game worth playing, but it really misses a soul.
