RIFT is an interesting proposition, and its existence has to be acknowledged on a MMO map. But you need to remember that despite some novelties, this game offers a very classic approach to gameplay, so don't expect anything revolutionary.- Posted Mar 25, 2011

The newest add-on doesn't introduce any revolutionary changes, but sums up the game's evolution well by offering an immersive single player campaign as well as a great multiplayer mode. And since Retribution is a standalone product, it is also a great game for people who want to begin their journey into the world of Dawn of War II.- Posted Mar 25, 2011

Dragon Age II turned out to be less of a revolution than expected. The game is very similar to its predecessor in many aspects but offers so much new content and so many changes, that there can be no doubt that it is a rightful sequel.- Posted Mar 25, 2011

LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is a very good product for every fan on the world's most popular bricks. It is obvious that the developers want to introduce some changes to the series. Even though they didn't play out so well this time, you can still spend some quality time with Traveller's Tales' newest game.- Posted Apr 5, 2011

I wish that the developers' creation becomes popular enough so that they can create a more complex sequel without looking at a budget. It could have some sort of a multiplayer mode - the game is lacking an opportunity to have a two player battle: one makes the turrets, the other tries to get through. But aside from that Anomaly is a very well made single player experience.- Posted Apr 10, 2011

Lovers of adventure games have had some big expectations regarding The Next Big Thing and the developers have met most of them. This is by far the best Pendulo game. An original gameworld spawned a great variety of characters and locations, and the story - although a little humorous - keeps the player entertained and immersed. Dan and Liz are very likable and we tend to cheer for them from the first minute.- Posted Apr 20, 2011

Magicka is a game that works especially well in cooperation. Single player experience is a good one but this game shows its true potential only when you play with friends, allowing for some great fun. A patched-up Magicka is most certainly worth getting to know. Even more, because it is a solid candidate for 2011's best game in its category.- Posted May 6, 2011

I like Red Faction: Armageddon as much, as I like Guerilla. Both of them love to destroy everything in sight, even though they are really different games. I think that people who like previous installments of the series will definitely feel at home and should have lots of fun. Lack of an open world is compensated by a well compacted and explosive gameplay. Destruction is really absorbing and a well balanced introduction of novelties keeps the game fresh. It's a pity there is no real multiplayer but it's still a good deal for your money.- Posted Jun 17, 2011

Cole MacGrath returns in style and his personal progress reflects itself it the game's quality. InFamous 2 is a sequel that develops knows ideas in a good way. The story is more compelling and expressive and our hero has some new, useful powers. The game takes us to some interesting (but a little imitative) places and guarantees a lot of fun challenges and spectacular battles. All of it would benefit from some basic tweaking – mission differentiation, city landscape upgrades and control improvements. But these faults are nothing when compared to the game's advantages. InFamous 2 is a dream come true for fans of the original and other similar games.- Posted Jun 17, 2011

Black Mirror III, despite grim predictions of being a repetitive game and a failure, turned out to be a really good product. The next installment of the series does a good job of continuing the tale of Gordon family's curse, explains most of the ambiguities and probably ends the whole story.- Posted Jun 29, 2011

Dungeon Siege III is a game that can't be graded without upsetting some gamers. They have been divided into two camps: the game's followers and opponents, and some examples of really fanatical behavior are peculiar indeed. But when I try to describe Obsidian Entertainment's new game in a calm and cool way, I have to say "at least satisfactory". A very gripping gameplay, arcade style combat, lots of RPG elements and interesting story and characters – these are the things that convinced me.- Posted Jun 29, 2011

Despite a few minor setbacks Pro Cycling Manager 2011 is a game worth recommending to all the fans of cycling. The game's core is at its best but the off-racing zone would benefit from some additional development and tweaking. Nevertheless PCM2011 is an absorbing game and has some really nice graphics. If you are looking for something fresh that will keep you entertained for months (thanks to community's modifications), Cyanide's newest game should meet your expectations.- Posted Jul 22, 2011

Dragon Age II: Legacy is a really good DLC. Desipte a strong focus on fighting it should interest all the players, who found the story and main character of the original game interesting. There are many little details like differences in conversations depending on the moment of your adventure's beginning.- Posted Aug 8, 2011

A big surprise - I didn't think Ubisoft Reflection could do anything good with such a weakened franchise but the final effect turned out really well. Even though sometimes you feel there is too much of really similar challenges and the technical side could be improved a little, Tanner's return is definitely a good one.- Posted Sep 9, 2011

Space Marine is a solid production - worthy of highest Patriarchs' praise. It has some flaws - minor technical issues (mediocre graphics, errors, lags) that fortunatelly fade in the light of Emperor's grace, that the game preaches. And may it do so for a long time.- Posted Sep 20, 2011

Resistance 3 has its better and worse sides. Single player campaign can absorb but not thanks to the story - the plot is fairly standard and doesn't stand out. The ending is disappointing - don't count on a strong accent to finish the trilogy. The gameplay itself is attractive and keeps you entertained for several hours and by a second playthrough you can choose a highest dificulty level and look for hidden diaries. Multiplayer, on the other hand, is uneven and won't satisfy everyone's tastes.- Posted Sep 20, 2011

Thanks to differentiated difficulty modes and a wide variety of assists, the developers have created a game suitable for both casual and more advanced gamers with some beautiful graphics to serve as an ornament for exciting races. It's a pity there are some minor flaws - especially those ridiculously long loading times can destroy the minds of less patient players. Codemasters' game is a step forward from last year's F1 - hardcore gamers won't find anything here but others surely will be satisfied and should enjoy sitting in a safe and well paid Formula 1 driver's seat.- Posted Oct 4, 2011

Those two God of War games are the best thing that happened to PlayStation Portable during its lifespan. At least that is the case when talking about western games - I presume that many lovers of japanese style won't feel the same way. But being a fan of good games and good slashers I wouldn't hesitate when thinking about buying this colelction. Well - maybe if you already have finished both games then I would wait for a lower price, but I wouldn't stay indifferent. God of War - Origins Collection is a great product.- Posted Oct 4, 2011

Dear console-owner - if you haven't experienced Crysis on a PC, don't hesitate to do it on your console. The loss on a visual side is minor and you still get an excellent gameplay experience with a lot of freedom and decision making. It's still one of the best shooters around.- Posted Oct 21, 2011

Capybara Games have created a fighting system that delivers decent amounts of fun. Defeating numbers of enemies and solving some battle puzzles is extremely satisfying and all of that is magnified by beautiful, hand-drawn graphics.- Posted Nov 7, 2011

Another CoD is a sure thing and a guarantee of high quality fun. The campaign in Modern Warfare 3 is extremely spectacular, unfortunately multiplayer took a step back from last year's Black Ops - small maps and matchmaking issues are very serious problems. You can't overlook the game's old technology as well. Even though it doesn't hinder breaking sales records, which is a strong enough message for Activision, that revolution is the last thing Call of Duty needs.- Posted Nov 18, 2011

Despite some mistakes and minor flaws, Syndicate is a very good shooter that should satisfy gamers in need of a challenge. The game is hard, sometimes too hard - you die more often than in most modern shooters, even though health recharges itself. But thanks to a great fighting model having to complete a difficult part for a tenth time should still be enjoyable.- Posted Mar 2, 2012

Despite a great dose of fondness towards Grimrock it's hard for me to treat it like something more than just a curiosity. Dungeon crawlers won't be making a great return. Guys from Almost Human have found a niche and met the expectations of older cRPG fans. I'm one of those fans and I had great fun for a while, but near the end my enthusiasm begun to subside.- Posted Apr 4, 2012

Tropico 4: Modern Times is a very good add-on that expands on all the possibilities of the basic game. A long, complex story mode allows for a full usage of new buildings, edicts and new solutions introduced with technological advancements, and facing world's problems in a micro scale gives a lot of satisfaction.- Posted Apr 13, 2012

A great shooter that combines TPP action with rail shooting. The developer has struck gold by filling the game with enormous amounts of content. The game provides lots of fun - dozens of hours even, if you sum up the single player campaign, playing with secrets, weapons and perks, and the time spent in multiplayer.- Posted Apr 13, 2012

LEGO Batman 2 is a true milestone for the series. A brick-made Batman rose up to the challenge and overtook it's predecessor by light years. The game's biggest assets are: an introduction of an open world, an interesting story and surprising plot twists. The new LEGO Batman is almost addictive – exploring the game's world can take long hours, and visiting previously completed levels isn't a strange thing.- Posted Jul 3, 2012

Duels of the Planewalkers 2013 is a game for everyone. It offers various game modes for a solo player and some interesting options for online gameplay – for a small amount of money you get a high quality, complete product. New user will get to know the virtual world of magic cards thanks to a very well made tutorial, and hardcore gamers will find lots of fun in some of the more demanding modes and, of course, multiplayer.- Posted Jul 6, 2012

The Dark Eye: Chains of Setinav is Just one example of a reborn genre of classic adventure games. It's a game that deals with the subject in a very typical way, but shows a technological direction for other developers to follow. It's one of a few games that draw so much from a real fable – the atmosphere amazed me. It's a very good game that lacks some final polish.- Posted Jul 18, 2012
