It's quite amazing to see how Nintendo manage to craft individual levels in Super Mario Galaxy 2 that comprise more innovation, variation and ingenuity than other developers build their entire games upon. This is a superior game to it's predecessor and the finest game in the genre available today.

The sequel to the masterfully crafted Uncharted: Drake's Fortune manages to up the notch to a whole new level, the result being the best adventure we've seen on this generation of console hardware. Praise be infinite when looking at the different aspects of the Uncharted 2 experience: fantastic graphics, great cast of characters, superb level design, masterfully directed movie sequences, fun combat and a well told story all make up what is undoubtedly a landmark of game design. Add to this a great online co-op mode as well as fun multiplayer modes and you get a game that by itself is a reason to buy a PS3.

The second part of the Mass Effect saga is nothing short of a milestone in game design. The technical issues present in the first game are now gone, a fact that's beautifully demonstrated by the improved graphics engine. There's a ton of worlds to explore, an amazing roster of characters to recruit and a great and engaging story. But Bioware's major feat is how all your decisions have a major impact on how the story, and thereby the trilogy, unfolds.

Little Big Planet could very well be a modern classic. Relying heavily on user content this game will only grow in splendor with time. The game does hold it's own though with great levels, beautiful graphics and fantastic four player co-op. A somewhat unrealised potential with regards to the controls and movement of charaters is the only thing standing in the way of a perfect score.

There are so many aspects of Red Dead Redemption that make it an experience above and beyond all other open world sandbox experiences that we can't even begin to list them all. Some of the reasons that stand out are a wealth of content, a beautifully rendered and detailed world, an interesting and engaging storyline, a fantastic roster of characters with their own personalities, great and believable dialogue, the ability to experience the game world online with or against others; the list can go on forever. Rest assured that this is one of the greatest game we've played in 2010 so far, and possibly ever.

The successor to the critically acclaimed Batman Arkham Asylum is bigger, looks better and contains even more content in form of more villains, more riddles and more side quests then its predecessor. Though it's near perfect in almost every way, the large amount of characters included from the Batman universe paradoxically becomes a flaw as there's too many of them to present them all in a logical and deserving way. Still, Batman Arkham City is a wonderful masterpiece that should not be missed.

Incredibly rich story and game world with tons of content and a few bugs. This RPG will have you playing for hundreds of hours.

One of the greatest adventure games of all time in it's finest edition. Improved graphics and smart use of the touch screen for the equipment.

A full packed version of the epic space RPG. The interactive comic that sums up Mass Effect is well made and the same goes for the port in general. A must if you haven't already played it.

Anomaly Warzone Earth is a good looking strategy game which lets you upgrade and navigate troops through enemy territory.

They improve the ultimate multiplayer game by adding a lot of options to tune your online experience. The campaign is short and intensive and the Spec Ops mode is a lot of fun for you and a friend.

As the supposed last entry in the Metal Gear-franchise, this is one major release. Most of the flaws found in previous entries have been removed and the variety in gameplay and weapons is simply immense. The story is told in great part by cinematic video sequences and ingame narrative sequences, and while these are fantastic in many ways they can also become a bit tedious. These flaws are minor though, Metal Gear Solid 4 is a fantastic title in every way and a worthy finale to the franchise.

Braid is an innovative hybrid of puzzles and platforming that uses manipulation of time in a great way. It's all too rare to see a unique and equally fantastic game like this and it's worth every penny. It's beautiful, captivating and filled to the brim with pure fun. That is why it only deserves the highest of grades.

Bilzzard offers us an engrossing and well crafted single player campaign combined with a multiplayer mode crafted to perfection in StarCraft II. You won't find any other real time strategy game that comes close to this level of craftsmanship. Add to this meaty options for content creation and what you get is a game well worth the long wait.

Bioshock Infinite is indeed a very good game, mostly because of its narrative and atmosphere. It offers a well written story in a living and interesting gameworld with believable characters. The only downside is the action scenes, which are both too frequent and feel somewhat unsubstantial.

If we were to summarize Gears of War 2 in one sentence it would be "intense and impressive action, preferably experienced together with a friend". There are some flaws here, such as a somewhat uninteresting storyline and some uneven levels, but when the overall experience is nothing short of outstanding we're ready to ignore these minor annoyances. Everything in Gears of War 2 is bigger, better and more bad ass and with an improved online mode this is the game to buy for all action buffs.

One of the best Zelda games ever and this years cosiest adventure.

God of War III is the very definition of an epic experience. The combat is brutal and fluid, the sense of scale is massive and the presentation is nothing short of amazing. Even though the third iteration of the series adds little or nothing to the original formula it's impossible not to be engulfed in this roller coaster of epic moments. A worthy conclusion to the trilogy indeed.

The third installation in the Uncharted series is bombastic and looks simply amazing. The highly scripted gameplay doesn't feel as fresh as it used to and the story loses its focus about halfway in, but a surprisingly good multiplayer experience saves the grade.

Even though it feels more like a party game than playing in a band it's still one of the best experiences you can have with your friends. The guitar isn't on par with the Guitar Hero-equivalent when it comes to quality, but what it lacks in hardware quality it makes up for in a far superior track list. The microphone works just as well as the Singstar one, although the difficulty is more lenient here. The major feature is of course the drums and it's just a blast to learn how to play your favorite songs on the new instrument. A steep price tag is the one major caveat, but if you can muster up the green you'll be treated to one hell of a party experience.

Super Street Fighter IV is an excellent addition to the original game. Capcom’s tradition of improving their bestsellers once again pays off with this massive expansion featuring plenty of new characters, maps and a much more inviting online mode. Street Fighter IV, the greatest fighting game of this generation, just got even better.

It is filled with so much polished content that it is close to being ridiculous. The enormous amount of cars and tracks together with improved community, painting and tuning features this came can be played for months. With superior physics and a realistic handling together with a large amount of adjustable options to fit each and every person makes Forza 3 a game that contains everything. The only thing missing is that little extra touch that would make it feel more than very good.

One of the best roleplaying adventures ever made is revived for the Nintendo DS, and it's as fantastic as it ever was. Despite being 14 years old this game still manages to wipe the floor with most games released in it's wake. Design, script, sound, characters, the time traveling mechanic and a number of other features are simply so ingenious that more than a decade of subsequent games has seen few titles to rival this experience.

Journey is a pure and decorticated experience where everything - music, graphics or interaction with other players - works together to form a perfect symbiosis. There are no highscores or leaderbords in Journey. There's just an uncompromising and personal adventure towards a mountain in the distance.

A unique experience, big free world, beautiful graphics and tons of content in one of the best rpg:s ever.

The second installment in the hard rocking franchise may seem familiar at first, but the fact is that there are several minor and major additions here that do a lot to improve the overall experience. You can now play the campaign online and there is a new training mode for all of us that are struggling with learning the drums. There are 84 new songs to rock out to and an additional 20 to download for free. This is in fact a buy even for those who bough the first Rock Band, and for those who own neither it's a must have.

Two of the most unique and beautiful games has receieved an ambitious overhaul.

It's very easy to recommend Little Big Planet 2 to any PlayStation 3 owner. Curiously, it is not so much Media Molecule's merit. They have mainly created an excellent tool. It's the users who already have and will keep creating the masterpieces.
