We literally have nothing bad to say about World of Goo. It's a wonderful puzzle game that every iPad owner needs to download. Prepare to spend hours, if not weeks, playing this one.- Posted Feb 15, 2011

We're also huge fans of the gyroscopic controls, allowing you to aim Link's slingshot by physically tilting the system, or going into a first person view to get a better look at the beautiful world. Great stuff.Posted Jun 17, 2011 -

It's a neat concept that both companies executed wonderfully, from the different units to the touch controls and spectacular graphics that are on par with and arguably better than anything we've seen on Sony's PSP, at least within the tower defense genre.- Posted Aug 15, 2011

This is without question one of the most entertaining and smartly designed adventures we've seen for the iPad, a game brimming with visual splendor and old school dungeon crawling.- Posted Aug 31, 2012

Unless you despise GTA, Chinatown Wars is an essential purchase. Rockstar did an excellent job transferring the mayhem to the DS, and we suggest you run out and buy a copy ASAP. -

All told, Sonic CD was a masterpiece long before it appeared on the App Store. This wonderful mobile version only helps solidify its standing as one of the greatest video games of all time.- Posted Dec 15, 2011

An essential purchase for puzzle fans that wish to get the most value for their dollar. It comes up just a bit short in regards to revolutionary features, but that matters little as the minutes played turn into hours. Simply put, a must buy for each iPad owner.- Posted May 23, 2012

Although it remains to be seen whether western audiences will flock to it, this is Nintendo's best shot at giving the Fire Emblem franchise the widespread attention it so rightfully deserves.- Posted Jan 31, 2013

With so much expectation placed at Illiger's feet, it's remarkable that this revised edition of one of mobile gaming's brightest gems not only preserves the simplistic elegance of the original, but introduces new gameplay elements that shine just as brightly.- Posted Jul 12, 2012

Expect to see a delightful mix of 3-D characters and hand-drawn and beautiful 2-D backgrounds (the bosses, in particular, are the most impressive), complimented by a quality soundtrack. In all, everything reminds us of an old PSOne RPG.- Posted Feb 1, 2011

The game itself is timeless. It's not so old that people are turned off by the primitive graphics and it has an engaging enough battle system that those new to turn based RPGs won't get bored. It still has the same fun factor as the SNES game, but now you can take it anywhere you want, so what more can I say? -

It's been a long and frustrating journey for Vlambeer to bring Ridiculous Fishing to the market, but for gamers it's certainly been well worth the wait. Let's hope the reward for the developers is success on the App Store, and that this particular fisherman's tale has a very happy ending.- Posted Mar 14, 2013

The PSP version of Chinatown Wars is still superior, due to the less clumsy controls and included soundtrack. However, if an iPhone is all you have, this definitely doesn't feel like a second rate effort.- Posted Feb 12, 2011

For a $6.99 priced app, FIFA 13 delivers a stunning amount of soccer content that'll keep you busy for hours. It doesn't quite fit on the same level as its console brethren, but for a "footy" mobile experience, it definitely shows that EA Sports has still got it.- Posted Sep 27, 2012

But Zelda: Phantom Hourglass goes the opposite extreme, and turns sailing into a boring and utterly joyless exercise in line drawing. Basically, instead of controlling the ship directly, you'll merely draw your route on the touchscreen and watch your ship travel to that destination. -

The in-game timer says that I have poured 33 hours into the cart so far, and I estimate that I've completed half of what the game has to offer. DS owners who opt to skip Dual Strike are missing out on the most full-featured and addictive title released for the system yet. -

Is it more imaginative than Super Mario Galaxy? No. Will it revolutionize gaming like Super Mario 64. Hardly. Do either of these questions matter? Absolutely not, and don't let anyone prove otherwise. Super Mario 3D Land is the epitome of fun. Most importantly, it's a shining example of everything that's good and wholesome about video games.- Posted Nov 10, 2011
