Playing SingStar with friends is still as fun as it ever was. The song selection on the game disc may be average at best but SingStore is a great way to get more, more, must get more! The songs are moderately priced and almost too easy to pick, pay and download. Also being able to see other peoples performances is great reality tv. [Jan 2008]

Hearthstone: Whispers of the Old Gods manages to bring a breath of fresh air to a stale metagame. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed takes the use of the force to a new level. Sometimes all the overpowering abilities can make the game feel a bit too easy, but luckily the balance is usually well preserved. It would've been fun to see a bit more lightsaber action, but Force Unleashed is still entertainingly fast and furious ride where you finally get to do something real with force. Throwing stormtroopers to chasms with force grip just never gets old. [Sept 2008]

Still clearly work in progress, but at least during the first 40 levels a very entertaining MMORPG. Hopefully Funcom can make their promises true. [June 2009]

Card Hunter is a rare gem among free-to-play-games because its revenue model isn’t an all-consuming behemoth. The tabletop RPG with card battles is an excellent idea, it is a little grindy but at least it has a tiny story too. [Sept 2015]

Stylish boss rush that resembles bullet hell games at times. Despite providing a tough challenge, Furi is never cheap or unfair. Tight and very responsive controls are worth a special mention. [Sept 2016]

A 4-in-1 add-on that delivers a staggering amount of new units, characters, events and maps. Gameplay is unchanged, though. [Sept 2007]

Looks spectacular and the driving is even better. An almost fully destructible environment and totally wreckable cars are the true soul of the game. FlatOut has never been better. [Aug 2007]

An immensely polished, gripping platformer experience. Aesthetically, Inside is pretty much ahead of anything done in the gaming space right now. That said, the actual gameplay (pushing blocks, scripted chase sequences) is somewhat lacking in substance. [Sept 2016]

A fine first add-on for The Sims 3. The adventures work surprisingly well and the travel locations are a refreshing change to the small-town americana of the original game. [Dec 2009]
