It is not a game for everyone, but From Software can again be proud of producing an instant classic in the action-RPG genre, which will be talked about for years. It is not as surprising as the original Demon's Souls, as we had great expectations for this spiritual sequel, but it improves on it and becomes one of the greatest games of the year.

The Ballad of Gay Tony is the perfect ending of the GTA IV "saga", and one of the best acquisitions available on Xbox Live Arcade.

    Fez
If you like the retro style, 2D platforming and above all good taste, Fez is your game. One of those outstanding games that raises the bar for what to expect from an indie studio. A must-have for Xbox Live Arcade.

Cave Story is one of the bastions of independent games, and its Wii port offers something else than just charging for it. Its new features are worth the money it costs: revised sound and graphics, a well-made difficulty system, good control and some extras both for veterans and newcomers.

A perfect ending for the first season. If the second season is just as good as this one, we're taking it for granted that no one will want to miss it.

Although it may seem that Guitar Hero 5 is just an update of the last year edition, the truth is that the new features, the improvements in the interface and the track list make it the best installment of the series in the last years.

FIFA 11 doesn't try to reinvent the formula, but to perfect it, and it mostly achieves it in the best football game of the year.

An impressive return of the series made by people who love and have respected the original game. A complex world to explore and a story that will engage the player for the many hours it lasts. Solid gameplay that rewards the skillful player.

It is not perfect, and each player will find his own vices and virtues, but we don't remember many projects with such ambition that comes so close to perfection.

This is one of those milestones in mobile entertainment, unique and beautifully crafted. It feels quite short, but it still is worth experiencing.

A great reborn of the series. Addictive, dynamic, challenging, deep and fun. It's a surprise for the fans of strategy games, whose only -very slight- issues are the story and the multiplayer. Not that they're bad, it's just they could be improved, but we quickly forget about it when playing. Way better than we expected.

This PC version is without question the Battlefield DICE wanted to do. It is the ultimate and recommended version of Battlefield 3, superior to the console versions. Although the campaign mode and the cooperative missions have much to improve, its competitive multiplayer is overwhelming and will provide hours of fun for months and even years.

Years have passed since the first game, and Dead Space 2 doesn't surprise us as much as the original did, but it has reinvented itself very well. The main character and its new situation help create interest and surprises, and offer us much more. And, again, it knows how to create that thrilling tension which makes it a great horror game.

Don't think for one moment that The Beatles Rock Band is just a new title in the series. The Beatles drew the masses in their time like no one before, and when you start playing this titles you feel yourself submerged in this sparkling sensation.

If you didn't like the original game, you should flee from this second entry, as it mantains the original on-rails formula. But if you liked the first, you'll love this sequel.

It brings back the formula seen on consoles, so this should be enough to picture what it has to offer: many hours of fun, a great gameplay, and loads of secrets, achievements, tricks and contents waiting to be unlock. We only miss multiplayer modes, but still is a very recommended option.

Everything fans may expect. A frantic and incredibly fun multiplayer with tons of options, game modes and unlockables, and also very well polished, and an intense campaign that concludes a story which started with Modern Warfare four years ago. The formula is aging - although it works as well as ever, its visuals are stagnating, but this is still a must-have for those looking for direct action.

It was a great game two years ago and it still is. Every addition is an improvement, and if you missed it the first time, it's the best opportunity to give it a try.
