  • Summary: Sin Is In! This hit British comedy series began 1992 and remains one of the BBC's highest rated and most popular shows. Absolutely Fabulous follows the lives of three (and later four) generations of the Monsoon family and the people around them. It began as a short French & Saunders sketch with Jennifer Saunders in her familiar role as Edina and Dawn French playing her daughter. A pilot for the series was filmed with the comediennes in those respective roles but Julia Sawalha was cast to replace French.     Now they are the last blinkered women in the bunker, hoarding designer shoes and awaiting an Evite back to the glamorous life. They don't belong there, and that's what makes them so welcome.

    A highly entertaining British sitcom purported to be based on the life of Lynne Franks a former PR giant turned celebrity in the UK. Well developed and truly hilarious characters.… Expand

    Absolutely Unbearable. The show is 90% unfunny jokes about old age, crude humour and being pathetic. The other 10% is slightly interesting.
