Season 2 is even better than season 1, Now that Dexter has ended this is now my new favourite show. The characters are interesting and so are the villians. This season shows the vulnerablity of the protagonist Lucas Hood. While there is sex and violence there is also a really good story and unlike other shows it doesn't seem to be hold much back. Fantastic and funny characters, great story and possible the best action scenes on tv right now. A really good Must watch program. Collapse

Banshee contains elements for fans of drama, action, horror and romance films and shows all in one. It gets better every season. It's beatufilly crafted plots with unbelievable background storyline and characters, but no farther off than the Sopranos or anything Dinero and Pesci did. It's pure adrenaline with real family, good character building, friends, enemies that know when to support you, controversial situations, tough choices. After the events from the first season of Banshee. The guys behind Banshee has done right again by involving more action-packed punches, more characters making into play, and a gripping plot sequence that makes Banshee the most wonderful town to live!

Banshee isn’t reinventing the wheel. But unlike, say, Homeland, which no longer makes much sense as a show given the departure of its finest asset (Damian Lewis), this Cinemax series knows it’s crazy. It delights in its trashiness, its pulpiness.

The problem is, Banshee is turning into just another show about a lawman with a colorful past that may not do everything by the book, but--he gets results!
