Two major changes took place at the end of season two. Firstly the characters had their powers replaced with alternative powers (which are not revealed until this third season) and secondly Robert Sheehan, who played the outspoken Nathan, decided to leave the show. As a fan of Misfits I was worried that these changes could upset the balance of the show, fortunately my concerns were unfounded.

Although there hasn't exactly been a shortage of superhero shows on TV in recent times Misfits continues to do things its own way by telling its own unique stories whilst retaining the series trademark dark humour. In fact, thanks to the removal of Curtis' ability to rewind time, season three is arguably the strongest yet despite the loss of many viewers favourite character.

This is the second best season of Misfits. In my opinion, Rudy is not as good as Nathan, but he still is a great character, and one of the best. I especially enjoyed the zombie cheerleader episode. Expand

Another great season of a great show! I think Season 2 had the upper hand but this has been a good follow-up with some very creative ideas for episodes. Nathan is no more but has been replaced by an equally as funny character in Rudy, but everyone else is back of course. Can't wait for the next series! Collapse

The gain of Rudy and the loss of Nathan really didn't add anything to this season. The ending was probably the strongest of the first three series however it was a mission to get there. Expand

If you have watched the first two seasons up until this point than you have experienced the best that misfits has to offer. Instead of continuing the story by watching the television show, imagine your own ending because you will only be disappointed by this newest season. This season does nothing to bring new elements to the story. It becomes the same old thing. Where there are still doing community service, with no progression of the story other than the disappointing elimination of a couple main characters, killing more probation officers, and new superpowers with no creativity. This season is utter garbage. On top of the lack of creativity, One of the best main characters disappeared from the show. The new addition is okay, but he is not as good as Nathan ever was. There are a couple great moments in this season, but they all felt like they should've explored those elements in past seasons. Watch it if you want. It is a disappointment and i hope i have convinced you not waste your time as this season only ruins the series. Expand
