Thank goodness for Metacritic, I love this show, patrick warburton, david spade are hilarious, the critics don't like it because it is not a politically correct sitcom, the males are like grown college men, Spade routinely uses women for nothing more that sex, there is no central character that is ****, many of the jokes are smack downs, insults about girly men, women, etc. I LOVE IT! Obviously the fans have it right, I hope this show rockets up the charts in its 5th season because my old favorite "Two and a half men" stinks without crazy Charlie Sheen, Ashton Kutcher is a wuss!
I love the show even as moved to Thursday night. My only rub is DAvid Spade's character. He has the mentality of a 8-year old. He treats his "firends" accordningly. Who writes for him?
Having two nearly identical, equally mediocre sitcoms on the air at the same time isn't exactly a crime, but it seems an awful waste of someone's time and energy.
While TV comedy is getting good again, the network has decided it's time to resurrect the groan-inducing cliches of stinky sitcoms to remind us of just how truly rancid the genre can get.
The critics are out to lunch on this one! I've seen comments like "I'm married and I can relate". I'm not even married and I find this show hilarious. Patrick Warburton and David Spade are funny as Really can't believe they this show got cancelled.
Definitely don't agree with the critics on this one. The show is funny and entertaining. I don't know what they based their criticism on, but it's definitely not as bad as they say! Check the show out and give it a chance. If you don't like David Spade however then don't bother, he is a main character and ya either love him or hate him
Overall this is a good show. Jeff Bingham/Patrick Warburton is the best. As a married man, I can relate to the humor. I enjoyed it more when it first came out but I still watch every week and I'm glad it is still on the air.
As much as I try, I just cannot find this show funny. It's a sitcom? I get the sit. But where's the com? The characters are generally annoying and there's no one in the show that brings me back to watch it.
David Spade and the rest of the cast have absolutely no comedic talent at all. And boy does it show in this cliche, superficial, artificial, piece of .... one of the worst shows on television.
