Mar 26, 2011Again, I'm giving an 8 out of 10 score. The 2 points down are for some of the acting to resemble that of a daytime soap-opera full of characters talking to each others backs and having elongated staring instead of actually answering one another's questions. PLEASE Smallville directors - STOP this shoddy blocking immediately! People in the reality face one-another when having a conversation & no, it isn't 'clever' filming technique. As for the storyline - lovely & dramatic, never a dull a moment, almost. This brings me to the 2nd point marked down. A 1940's episode? Really? Ok, so every tv show & its dog have done a 1940's episode whereby a character sleeps or is knocked unconscious while watching old movies. Boring, seen it before and it does NOT further the storyline. In short, miss this episode & you've missed nothing. BORING!
Lana Lang finally dies - THANK GOD! That was long overdue. Lets just hope they don't pull a daytime soap storyline with her faking her own death. If so, unimaginative! Get it?… Full Review »
