Review this tv show
Jan 20, 2013A great show that i grew up with. Basically, this show is my definitive version of not only Spider-man, but how shows suppose to, well, be. Allow me to explain. You see, here every single episode is actually connected with each other, so, end of one episode is beginning of the other, and some of the stories do have later development. Characters doesn't just disappear. Stories are fast-paced but never feeling rushed, animation is... kinda mixed thing. It is pretty detailed, but creators are overusing same fragments over and over. But still, a great animation nonetheless. And this show has two really major flaws: first, fourth season is kinda boring, there's just Parker derping around with Felicia. And second: the ending. My god, it's begging for continue, and maybe, someday we'll see end of this story, but right now, we don't know if Peter Parker found Mary Jane, which is sad.… Collapse
Sep 4, 2012An amazing Spider-Man cartoon for a multitude of reasons. The voice acting (particularly Christopher Daniel Barnes) is outstanding, and John Semper Jr. took the series in a very interesting direction with the unique season long plot lines. The inner monologue which this show features makes Peter Parker more relatable and understandable like he was in the comics because the viewer is allowed inside the mind of this teenage superhero. All these reasons and more are why this TV series deserves a 10.… Expand
Apr 18, 2012Before I start the review, I'll warn you that it is fueled by nostalgia. I love this series. There is no punching, no real guns, and no usage of the word "kill" (damn Fox censors!), but this is a very good series. Christopher Daniel Barnes is in my opinion, the best voice for Spider-Man when he is out of high school.
The series is on Netflix streaming, so if you can watch it soon!
