It's not a stupid high school vampire love story which in 2009, I think, everyone thought. Some people must of thought 'Ugh not another vampire thing' but it isn't the central part. It's about survival and family. Every finale and every premiere (in seasons so far) always has an exciting twist or a new dynamic that is exciting for the viewers. Ties from the past still manage to weave themselves into Elena's present and who knows what the future will bring for her? Incredibly exciting and a promising season ahead. Also, Delena (yay). Expand

Just when most people thought the series couldn't get any better because nothing new can be employed to the plot, the minds behind the storyJust when most people thought the series couldn't get any better because nothing new can be employed to the plot, the minds behind the story line of The Vampire Diaries have become more genius. Honestly, I was afraid that The Originals laying low on the show can detach some emotions from the series, this thing with the "travellers" are making things more wickedly interesting. Plus, has anyone been noticing how good Paul Wesley's acting has gotten? This is just irresistible. Expand

I don't know if it's the writers, producers or directors, but they keep throwing random storyline like travelers, make Caroline even more annoying than she used to be, have Bonnie experience both sides crap and toy with Matt as if he's a useless human. It is not the worst season (ahem *3*). I don't even know where the direction this show is going anymore. At least, they made Stefan awesome this season. I also feel sorry for Damon having to deal with babysitting. Expand
